I have no idea how you managed to avoid "The Stick" with this monstrosity of a creation but i am more than impressed. I tried blueprinting something similar (15% of your movement complexity) and the whole thing stuck itself like a brick. Great job as always!

I was blown away when I copied this thing and not one thing stuck lol. I wish I could say it was on purpose, but I just lucked out on this one. a lot of my stuff does because of the close proximity, but the way I normally combat it is to put a block within the same grid as another so on paste it wont fuse. I used to use LCD's, but the new flat blocks work just as well.

Could you be able to make something similar, just as a drilling rig deployed and able to drill a large amount. Maybe even be able to leave a drilling rig it placed, and when driving of, could weld new stuff to deploy another drill rig or something. With this level of building, I am sure you could make something insane that way. I am deeply impressed by this. Makes everyone else feel like noobs at the game xD

Do you not use the share inertia tensors with the pistons and rotors? That helps avoid the shaking you see when you activate builds like this. That does help a lot with avoiding the mess you get at the end of the vid Don't get me wrong, this is an awesome build, just I see the bouncing pistons and rotors and it makes me worry something will break XP

I started this project by trying to make it. But the way it deploys in game is just crazy. Literally stuff coming out of the ground and large panels coming out of nowhere. Unfortunately this may be as close as I can get without cheesing it out of panels in the ground. But I played all the C&C games and loved them!

Cause right now I'm limited to a six large block sizing.... Yeah I'll have to make a second larger entrance for the vehicle, cause I'm likely gonna use big wheels and intend to have atleast four piston worked landing gear for stability while firing
