To turn off saves go to load game and adjust it in there, also did you try publish your game to workshop? And use that save for now on? Worked for me

You have to use "load game" sometimes, not continue, continue is not always using the newest save idk why

Oh I do have my own Fat Cat Caravan EOS server, which works fine 👍 search it you will see 😉 But single player is the one that is f**ked. 😫

Update if people renting servers is the issue for not saving Gportal is jacked up use NITRADO , not g Portal as my friend was doing , now the world saves on Nitrado i hope this helps someone , my game saves on Single player PS 5 version and Multiplayer when i host

I've got the same issue I'm a admin on a server, I Carnt save blueprints or save game it really hard for me to want play anymore.

You can turn autosave off from the load game menu. Select the game you want to load and press square for options. Remember to save options with square 👍

I am running SE on a ps4. I know it will not have as big save files as a PS5 due to resolution but I have had NO issues at all. Granted I have upgraded the drive to a 1TB SSD so I have loads of space. I agree with the other posts. Delete or better still backup your save and then try on joining an online server. I am not up with the PS5 but could you add an external 1TB drive to move the game over to??? I have been playing SE since it came out on the PC and love it. Its great to now have it on my PS4 as a test I have been running the same new game on both platforms and have been pleased with the results. Its early days for the PS4 platform and I trust Keen to come through in the end. I know it was a BIG job to re-code for the play station platform, Now I need to save up for a PS5. Keep on building and please dont be disheartened. If you have an old laptop sitting around W4stedspace did a very good walkthrough to setup your own SE server. Thank you for you're awesome comment 👍 So yes I do have my save backed up and yes you can add another SSD and yes that would work 👍 Yeah I really do love the game ❤️ and Im not giving up no way! Just gonna try it on PS4 tomorrow to see if I can play it single player for my YT series. I do currently have my own EOS Fat Cat Caravan server which works fine, just sometimes takes a while to connect to it 👍 Yeah I know it must be hard to bring the game over to PS and I appreciate them doing it 👍 Thank you very much 🙏

Hey Fat Cat. Sorry about the troubles. i have a temp fix. Upload your world to mod hub. Delete the save file from the PS5. Open your world in the workshop/custom game. Once loaded save the game and quit to main menu. From there go to Load game and edit settings of save. In there, there is an option to turn off back up saves. Turn that off (set to 0). That will disable the feature which doesn't even function and is most likely the culprit of this horrible bug! I hope this helps. P.s. make sure experimental mode is on Cheers!

​@@Fat_Cat_Caravan No problem at all. No experimental mode doesn't make the game itself unstable. The only thing it really does is add features that have been previously removed like "share inertia tensors" for pistons and other options. I always have it on no issues with it only that save bug which is gone for now

I'm glad there is a work-around for it, and I've been doing this since the game was release on PS on the 12th of May, but today the problem has stepped up a gear. Not sure if it has happened to anyone else, or if I'm the only unlucky one (hopefully for everyone else's sake) but my save seems to be so broken that I'm no longer able to upload it. My solo survival world with many hours, and a lot of hard work, has officially been bricked. Hopefully it won't happen to anyone else, but people should know that even this work-around is as buggy as the save issue. And if, when they do fix it, you need to perform this work-around one last time to clear the world's memory (or whatever it does), and your save is bricked like mine, well... goodbye world I guess. It might be best to leave this game be until it's all fixed, which honestly sucks.

i got this game for PS5 , its a flaming hunk of garbage , things you build randomly disappear , buttons stop working at worst times , driving stops responding and makes you slam into mountains , you need to scratch you ass on Sunday while the moon is in conjunction with Venus as a monkey is eating a grape in a oak tree on Monday just to do one thing in this game , grind is real on this game the amount of time and resources to make ANYTHING is ridiculous , things turn on or off by themselves such as your jet pack or your drill , Keen just want to keep releasing DLC for more money but not fix the issues in the game they have , sign of greed and lack of empathy for their customers ? If i had known this game was this much of a trash pile i would have NEVER purchased it . Nice concept and great game when it works correctly which is about 10% of the time , game is trash.

@@Fat_Cat_Caravan i hope so this morning i tried playing it got disconnected 5 times , first 4 were fairly close to each other , last time i had a base set up with Solar , Assembler , Refinery , h2/o2 gen fully upgraded decking on the floor , after 4 hrs game kicked me and my whole base was gone so it was all a waste of my time.
