Quick analyze: Red Team- start slow wasting time on drilling (hand-drills are useless), and messing up, but salvaging freighter was good move. Those kind of ship aren't too good in combat with fighters, but if they will be armed they shouldn't have problem with crappy biplanes and unskilled pilots of Blue Team. Blue Team- start with determination, but they lack of skill in constructing fighters. If they rethink they design, train fighting, and make several extra fighters they could have chance against crappy freighters of Red Team.

Red is going to win. If they use turrets and have ammo then those small ships may not have a very good chance. But as we have seen with the Red Dwarf, I could be proven wrong and they may be able to take the turrets down. Unless they are not expecting it. I hope they have multiple ships as well. Would help a lot if they had to individual ships to combat those pesky blues.

3:30 for the unfamiliar with Space Engineers and how crazy the playerbase is. This is NOT a bug that the turret shoots at rocks. This is intentional, as many many experimental player-made weapon systems (torpedoes with hollow casings containing asteroids) are based on the idea of flinging ore and rocks at peoples ships, which does a large amount of damage at high enough speeds (achieved by accelerating said torpedo with gravity generators facing away from your ship in a maglev/railgun configuration). So the turrets have to be able to react and defend against not only conventional blocks, but also natural rocks and chunks :D
