Welcome back to the channel everyone! Sound the drums and lets go to war! Today we'll be finishing building the Arbiter of War and take it out on it's maiden voyage to destroy out enemies. Remember to like, subscribe, and comment down below any suggestions :)

Don't forget to zoom in using middle mouse wheel when manually operating turrets. Allows you to be more accurate with your shots!

I'll start by saying Yes, that's a nice looking ship. but... I don't know how many turrets are on the AoW, but during those battles it appeared that the ship was more an Arbiter of small Skirmishes rather than war. If you're going to "take the fight" to someone, make sure you actually take the fight rather than a slapping contest. Right now, the ship seems to rely too heavily on the shields, so when the shields get overloaded, it takes too much damage from not having enough heavy armor. An updated blueprint might be in order. Another suggestion for the station atop the space elevator, I've seen someone use a rotor and LCDs for a rotating sign. Seemed like a pretty neat idea, might fit well with your station.

It's definitely more of a showboat that a slugger at the moment. My hope was that there was enough fire power to cripple enemy ships before the shields would fall but clearly not! I also love the rotating sign suggestion!

Enemy ships ramming your shield like todays session will cause the shield to overload, in turn causing you to take way more damage than needed while the shield is down. would also suggest making the "AOW" bristle with more weapons, and maybe a couple of " CWIS" anti missal turrets to offset those shield strikes. Lessons learned I'm hoping, and surprised you did so well against the "SOL" as its a tough ship with all things considered good job keep'em coming .

Yeah chasing that one down was a big mistake 😂 More weapons are definitely needed!

I think if you call your ship the "arbiter of war" you need to put more than a single 2x1 wedge bottom worth of light armor between your bridge and the vacuum of space. I get that the ship is from a game many people find cool, but if you want a good warship I think the design constraints should be determined more by practicality than looks - not that you need to make your ship a flat brick either, of course.

Very true! The AoW might be best used as a flagship with defensive capabilities and maybe I can go about creating a new ship that can be the main battleship. Maybe a secondary bridge deep within the ship near the medbay might be a good choice for the AoW as well 😂 It was definitely a learning experience this episode :)
