This lot has been hidden away for years. What it starts with is up on youtube already, ie 'Traveller's Tale', (first song) but carry on and you will find more. The sound of the didge and dulcimer still awakens a part of me lost in a purposeful dream.

Space Goats, not heard anything by them for years! I really liked their spaced out, pagan, hippy, crusty, folk groove, sounds! The levellers could have learned a thing or two from them? Featured them in my fanzine - Cyrkel Spynn... in the mid-1990's. How time has flown since then!

Most amazing part of Glastonbury in 95 was randomly encountering them in a tent, leaping around singing about pixie people and faerie folk.

That was the first time I ever went to Glastonbury, and I stumbled upon these 3 times that weekend, including the bagpipes player joining them. I can only assume we were both at the same gigs.

I often wonder what happened to the Space Goats. Were they made into Scapegoats? Bumped into Simon busking solo at Sidmouth fest last time I was there, 2011 possibly. I still have a somewhat jaded cassette tape and still love this.

One or two of them were living in Glasto in the last 10 years. Seems the Goats like Glasto :)

One of the more amazing aspects of Space Goats music is that I can't work out where it comes from. Certainly not folk. Or rock. Or pop. It sounds like nothing from earth....
