The premise of "deep space explorers land on a planet that is exactly like Earth" is interesting. But the execution leaves a lot of room for improvement. Which is sad - I would have liked to see what this premise could have become in the hands of a more experienced author.

Ok... I'm no editor, but here are a few confusing moments that might be reworded...; Crash land on an unknown planet; "....we weren't even sure we're in the right place if it was another planet what did that mean was it inhabited as well? What could possibly explain everything about this entire situation?? 🤔 I sighed. I hoped this wouldn't become a permanent feature of my life. Yet, here we were. Of all places....the air seems to be like that of earth, but we were trying to be super cautious... because in truth we didn't know where we were, on a planet that looked physically like earth...... Some plants didn't even look like they should exist in another place entirely..... We've been walking for quite some time and we hadn't seen anybody but ourselves in what felt like minutes....... The ground was Smokey, almost concealing the black hard Rocky ground beneath our feet......after we covered a few more ground will report back to the ship... 'Captain we haven't found any other people.' 'that means there must be some creatures here!' I said. Everything was calm and peaceful here..even without any warning, we felt at peace. A scream rang out..Some thing was wrong here, that much I could tell..... something wasn't right at all. Perhaps we had seen enough, even though it wasn't really enough. All the commotion seem to lead us into an area that was completely deserted and silent. No animals and sound at all, apart from the birds and other small creatures flying by...? 🤔" 😂

Great attempt on story, I suggest a little more research into the kinds of issues that space farers would face but otherwise fine. E.g. why does the scream indicate danger for the crew, could it be aliens on the alien planet? Maybe, and if so they could be making this sound as part of a mating call, could be hunting or being hunted, or could be singing like a 🐦. Again good go, I enjoyed it and this helped a tedious car trip go quicker so thank you :). Just wondering if it was written by a human or ai? Just out of interest.
