Well it said Applicant accepted. Which implies that there might be some that aren't accepted for one reason or another. Even if every boy was accepted and turned into a Space King Marine, they might just get erased by the process to create a Space King Marine. The boy that got turned had brown hair, but then after transformer had blonde. And the globulus that was sacrificed had an ID with that same marine's info on it. Which maybe implies that as long as the Globulus are retrieved and reimplanted, the marines are functionally immortal with their host basically getting overriden or erased by the end of it.

In Warhammer 40K lore, every time a Space Marine dies, the Apothecary (The medic) has to extract the "Gene-Seed" from the marine's chest, which is used to create a new Space Marine. In this case, Chestnut is extracting the Holy Globules (The holy testicles) to create a new Space Defender.
