I do have a question if I unlock all of the weapon variants is it suppose to equal my gun ability tree, meaning able to select it from Standard to the last Tier? I unlocked all of the weapons on one weapon and was able to select the different abilities I can benefit from but my Plasma Pistol I’m short 1 mastery points for the last tier.

How many times can you say "it is quite simple" without ever getting to the point

Go to the armory then click the "versions" tab for that weapon. Hover over each version and it will show Mastery 0/1800 etc. This is the progress for each version. As you max out each version, you will get a mastery point. For thunder hammer, it has 1 standard version = 1 mastery point 3 master crafted versions = 3 mastery points 4 artificer = 4 mastery points 3 relelic = 3 mastery points Thunder hammer has 11 possible mastery points If you dont want to a version then max it out in games, hover over it and left click (PC). You will use up an Armory Upgrade point (green, purple, gold) to max it out immediately and not have to level it up in games. For example, I would dread having to use block weapons for a perfect parry Assault build. I will max that one immediately. So, it pays to collect multiple armory upgrade points. In summary, to get all perk points you have to unlock master crafted, artificer and relic weapons by using that weapon in games then using armory upgrade points for the unlocks. Then you have to max out each version of that weapon. You can skip having to max out each version by hovering over that version then spending an armory point to do that

Bolt pistol has 8 versions. Use/Master (costs armoury data) them all to give you 8 mastery points. Bolt Pistol has 16 perks under Perk Tree. You cannot max the weapon perk tree. So you can either do all 8 of top or bottom path, or slightly mix them (you can grab a perk from the top/bottom if there is a line connecting them) You can reset the perks by holding Y (or equivalent), so feel free to swap them around and try new perks

@@fogstorm5531 you have to max the experience of all the weapons at that category. Alternatively, you can earn the point from operations, buy the weapon to unlock it and spend the point therefore bypassing having to level each weapon in the category.

Or hear me out, do like me farm ruthless mission. Get a stack of relic material and just use that to max out everything else. On ruthless mini bosses super common, so you get 2 data per run more often and it honestly don’t take more then 5% longer then substantial to clear. More xp and more upgrade data. For slightly more time spent

For some weapons taking the quickest route in skill tree you won't have enough points to reach the end even after unlocking all the points from the weapons. The remaining mastery points to max out the tree can be earned after maxing out the weapons tier (top bar of xp) then by finishing a match on ruthless difficulty with the highest tier weapon (any of the weapons in that tier) you need perk points on, killing every enemy that spawns in each area (killing ones that call for reinforcements makes it easier) and beating it flawlessly (never lose any health or shield).

Each weapon can be mastered after 1 match of operations on ruthless difficulty. Last tier weapons take 2 matches. Not really a grind or hard.

The thing I have a hard time understanding is this (and maybe somone can enlighten me). Let's pick the lase fusil as an exemple. If there is only 9 variations of the weapon. Does that mean that for the perk tree I will never be able to get more than 9 mastery point to attribute.
