@@jonipalosaari5443 Exactly this. People looking to do this have already enjoyed taking their time and leveling a class or two; and now just want to mindlessly speed-run stuff to max other classes. I'd rather take my time and just play it as intended with friends; the fun is in the journey, the destination is the reward we're all chasing(max level classes); but to get there through mindlessly rolling past all the gameplay, just seems like the most un-fun thing to do. Not like this game has anything major going for it that opens up at end-game/max level anyway. It's not like World of Warcraft or Diablo 4 where there's actual end-game events/bosses that drop better and better loot. I'm ok with taking along a friend who wants to level another class once we've already mastered one that we like; but we wouldn't be rolling through the gameplay to do it; we'd just be playing through it like normal and taking extra care of the 'smol guy' with us, which makes it even more rewarding.

@@ShevaiAsan Levelling any class for the first time is good fun and enjoyable. But circling back to level a second weapon is a painful task. Some of the weapons are utter thrash until they reach purple or gold. I have levelled characters exploring maps and having fun. Levelling second ranged weapons is not fun. My major gripe with all these speed levelling videos is that they use a melta, there is absolutely no reason to speed run with a melta. The melta is pretty much the only weapon properly tuned to the difficulty level. I would like to see guides on how to speed level a Bolter. make that.

​@@alanmcm100% agree. I just level a heavy bolter to max in my heavy, after initially leveling the multi melta. It was the most painful experience because a heavy bolter is a POS till at least the full artificer upgrade. Meanwhile any melta is solid right off the bat. I kinda want to try out the bolter with grenade attachment from Tactical but I've heard it's also really trash to use until artificer... Some balancing needs to happen to make weapons more enjoyable from the start.

If anyone actually wants a good way to farm xp and armory data just run mission 3. Unless you lose the 50/50 when you enter the church and need to kill all the chaos units to proceed you can technically finish the mission without killing anyone

Thanks for the locations for the armory data and gene seeds. The speed running missions seem to be the way to go for maximum rewards as the game does not really give one ANYTHING for taking on all the mobs that are on the mission.

Just play inferno on ruthless. Its straight forward with 4 or 5 possible boss spawns for extra data and i timed it, it takes less than 25 mins and you're not rolling past everything

This isn't it. Mission 3, Vox Liberatis. Don't engage anything, except the 1 time you might have to (I believe in the chapel where you first encounter the cultists you sometimes get a sorceror spawn you have to defeat to progress), or if you're confident you can clear up an area that won't have a possibility of further spawns (ie. there's an elevator section where the elevator closes behind you, it has a cache on it, and the descent section can have you stopping at a level to re-power the elevator so you want to make sure your armor has recharged). Besides the possibility of the chapel forced fight, none of the mission requires killing enemies. That means it's doable on level 1 with any class and any equipment. I'm not sure of Gene Seed locations for it (haven't seen a good guide for it yet), but the Armory Data locations are easy to memorize. You just dodge and dodge and dodge. It's arguably more easily done with bots as they'll just engage the enemy, are fairly survivable, and especially in the last section where you're trying to capture and interact with the four nodes they do a decent job of distracting the spawns. This isn't even just my opinion either - while technically the meta may have developed since release, this is the strategy that the person who got the first 25 in the world used. It also requires no gear, no decent teammates and no class levels, but any of that stuff would make it easier (I have to imagine it's going to be faster than Decapitation if you're similarly geared, and just engage when you need to or when it won't cost time/will greatly increase survivability). However, I'll mention that it's worth doing many missions straight-up as opposed to this cheese strategy. If you cheese to high levels then try to do missions normally, you'll be behind the curve in gameskill and in a worst case scenario you'll hinder rather than help your squad. I've only done it a couple times myself, and that's because I'm at a progression point where I need some artificer data yet I have a few classes still sub-10.

When it comes to operations, the game has them listed as "classified" until you reach certain points in the campaign - I think this one reveals before the fifth or sixth mission - but it also gives you the option to ignore that classification and just do them anyway (there may be story spoilers if you're paying attention to what's happening).

I hate min/maxers with a fiery passion that could only come from the deepest, darkest bowels of hell. Every game, they do the exact same thing. Step 1: Find the absolute fastest way to level up and get all the unlocks. Step 2: Play the game only in the min-maxed way, completely sucking the joy out of the experience. Step 3: Ridicule other players for taking their time and enjoying the game at a reasonable pace. Step 4: Complain that there isn't enough content. Vox liberatis is a lot easier, the only part that involves RNG is if you get the eliminate all heretics (least preferred) or reactivating the elevator (easiest)

People that say this are always the first to abandon a game. Even if you kill everything in a level you don’t get extra exp (10 at most for kills) and if you’re starting a second class there is tons of required weapon experience just to get decent enough weapons to not run out of ammo instantly. Not to mention that several classes don’t even come into their power until level 15+. Doing this with friends is tons of fun and can sometimes force a boss spawn which : gives armoury data !

I start a campaign mission on the battle barge. If you let the game sit, it will go into offline mode. Then I go to mission select and play ops solo. Didn't realize I could run through everything. Made it through with a gene seed and still killed everything in sight. It is possible even for a halo/BF player like me.

i know people are like "ugh your breaking the gaaame". but seriously, thank you. this game is so underdeveloped and grindy. why is pvp and operations xp separate? why does the campaign give nothing? why does it take 20 wins to get a single level? seriously to get to like lvl 15 in pvp only prob takes like 100 hours. fk developers thinking grinding is a valid mechanic, its just a gimmick to hack your brain to make you keep playing even if you stop having fun. i like a game that respects my time and ability to choose. i dont want my game to be like "just grind 100 hours and then you can unlock the final weapon and then the game will be most fun i prooomissse", and then you get there and because of the sunk cost fallacy your forcing yourself to think it was all worth it. just give me the game and let me play it!!! anyway, thanks for the tips roundtable, i dont have the time to grind every thing forever, this will help.

@@xavier84623 It doesn't take anywhere near 20 wins to get a single level. Are you only playing on Trivial? Trivial should only be played until you get used to the basic mechanics. Standard weapons are fine for Average difficulty (provided you've learned basic combat), and it only takes three missions with Gene-Seed to reach Master Crafted weapons. Master Crafted weapons are suitable for Substantial difficulty, again three missions with Gene-Seed will get you to Artificer. Artificer weapons are suitable for Ruthless. You get about 2500 XP per match on Ruthless, if you have the Gene-Seed (about 1800 if you don't). If you've just started from level 1, and are following the above, you'll level up at least once (if not twice) each match until 18 or 19. Then it'll slow down a little.

Our very first match in Operations, we got forced to match-make, and the guy pretty much did this; ran past everything and then had to come back because my friend and I were just trying to enjoy the gameplay, exploring all the nooks and crannies of the first mission, etc. That happened for the next mission, and I think by the third mission we finally got matched with a guy who was playing just like us; taking our time, killing every enemy group; and in chat he was like "Oh my god, you guys are awesome; I've been stuck with speedrunners all night." That guy stayed with us up till Mission 6, when we called it a night since it was 1am eastern. Added them to friends list.

@@ShevaiAsan To be fair, it's often not about speedrunning though, but picking your spots. Group of enemies in the direct and only path to the next objective? Go to town. Group of enemies on a side path that you don't need to engage at all? Conserve your resources. I've done a lot of Infero (mission 1), and there are a couple points like this - where there are side paths where you don't need to go down them at all, or there are paths you can take that skip potential enemy groups entirely. Resources are limited in many cases; why use them unnecessarily? That said, this is assuming that you're ok with playing like this (trying to focus on efficiency while not trying to just skip everything). I feel like it also fits in with the mentality of a lot of chapters - they want to kill all enemies of the Imperium, but they also understand that it's better to optimise their strategy for prolonged success. Other chapters though would want 100% kill rate; if it's their time to die then so be it.

A Raven Guard would conserve ammo & pick the fights but Salamanders or Black Templars would stomp every xeno in the dirt. People need to learn that everyone has their own way of playing & just because you just want XP & to "min/max" doesn't mean everyone else does nor should they. My buddies & I roleplay with callouts, chatter & other things that would make the mission go from 10-15 mins to 30+ but that's how WE enjoy the game.

Hey, you did a great job detailing it but this is not new. We figured this out before the games official launch so nice try I’m sure you’ve seen other videos like this, but you did a good job of highlighting, the trash, mobs, and the seeds but this has been out for a while.

il iterally playeda match with you early. could not understand thas fuck you were doing in the beginnig but in the end you were not half bad players after all ( i was the level 25 heavy with maxed out cosmetics and relics in black and red armor )
