Spacemarines series 3 "Plague Marines"...what can I say...I'm well impressed by all 6 miniatures as The Death Guard are my 2nd army (not nearly as many releases as the ultramarines)... Although I'm defo looking forward to the December releases...Clotticus & Gangrus the Plague champion are the only 2 I built wearing their helmets...👍

Am I missing something or is space marine heroes mostly marketing hype? I can understand buying them if you want a nice squad of plague marines for your deathguard/chaos marine army. Or buying it if you want to bolster a squad. If anyone here is getting them for other reasons, I'd like to know. (Obviously there's Sup3rSaiy3n getting them to review)

There were a couple sculpts from each of the previous series that I was interested in, although I bought those specific models off ebay. The terminator is for adding some Space Wolf bits to, to run as a Wolf Lord in Terminator Armor. I haven't decided if the series 1 sculpts will be sergeants in their respective units (although I like to magnetize heads, so I can always change my mind).

They're made specifically for the japanese audience, and blindboxes like this are a massive market in Japan. Plus I'm pretty sure the vast majority of japanese people only buy warhammer to have some nice minis to paint, and they don't actually play the game.

Errrr ... the poses are great, but make sure to really clean the model and make sure the 2 halfs really stick together.. I couldn't believe how idiotic this way of molding is ... thought it was a joke at first when I bought the ( new ) book. Not a fan of this way of splitting figs in half
