Space Shuttle Enterprise sails the Hudson to its Intrepid home in NYC

The Space Shuttle Enterprise sailed up the Hudson on June 6, 2012 and was hoisted to the flight deck of the Intrepid Air and Space Museum. Includes footage from Battery Park, NYC, Imperial Port - Weehawken, NJ, aboard and around the Intrepid in NYC.

That would have been the coolest thing to see in person. A symbol of what our dreams were going down a river to be put in a museum.

There are more cost effective ways to doing science. The Shuttle's time has come and gone. It served us well.

I'm so mad.... I'm from Canada and we went on a school trip earlier in May to NYC and went to the Intrepid Museum. I WISH THIS WAS THERE WHEN WE WENT :(
