You gotta love how every great comedian has their own style and contributes their own trademark to comedy. Will's style I can never get enough of, it was so random and off kilter and you never knew what he was going to say. Many may not agree with me but to me he's a comedic genius.

I taped this when it was live, and then watched it many times. This was a good episode. Back when you could rely on SNL to give you an hour and a half of weekly entertainment. I gave up watching full episodes around 2006. When I remember to check for sketches from new episodes on KZbin, I only play about a quarter of them, and only about ten percent of the ones I play do I watch all the way to the end. For me the heyday was about 1998-2002, though there have been good sketches and performers since then.

This was clearly improvised. Ferrell was the king of improvisation and ad libbing. And with a single look or gesture he could get anyone to break. He gets a lot of flack for his sub par movies but I don’t think people realize what a talented comedian he really is.
