SPACE TO BREATHE | Cañon de Tinajani | GILLES LANG 2023

Hey!
Follow me on a 2 days solo hike through this stunning landscapes of the Altiplano, close to Ayaviri, Peru.
Due to more than 4000m altitude, the nights are quite cold so I was freezing a little in my 10$ tent. Luckily the farmer, on whose property I slept brought me some coffee in the evening.
During daytime it can be relatively hot and you need to be careful to not burn your skin. The wind constantly blows. Breathing is, even though there is a lot of space, hard because of the altitude of over 4000m.
I started by foot in Ayaviri and, after a few kilometers of hitchhiking, I met that dog which followed me for many many kilotmeters, slept near my tent and accompanied me the whole next day until I returned to the last settlements in front of the canyon towards the end of the trip, where he seemed to be at home.
Apart from a few other dogs, sheep and 2 or 3 farmers I did not see anybody.
