Seth was looking at the front of the cards, he wasn't reading the backs so he missed it. On top of that, it's not even the '52 Topps Mantle. Looked like a later year card of his that you can buy for $50 dollars to a couple $100 dollars. It could even be a Mantle card printed in the 1980's that isn't worth anything at all. Either way Seth didn't steal it, he just didn't see it in there.

The color of a Bricklin is embedded throughout the resin from which the body is made. Nobody has to paint a Bricklin; surface imperfections are buffed out, revealing a pristine colored finish. If Les and company deducted $$$ from the value for a total repaint, the seller was screwed.

Bricklins didn’t need painted. They had a fiberglass and resin body. Color was embedded directly in its resin body panels. If the car got scratched, all that was needed was a good polishing.
