I'm not saying bring him back or anything, but the plays that Kellen Moore were calling were WAY, WAY better than the plays called by McCarthy. We need new, young blood on the coaching staff that will fire this team up.

The radio hosts were ONLY asking questions that we fans are asking!!!! The point, Jerry is this, YOU as the GM have NOT found a way to find the "right mix" in constructing a team that can go far in the playoffs! The radio host's questions were EXACTLY GM-type questions, instead, Jones wanted to answer HC-type questions, especially when he addressed the Guyton question. Jerry is a STALE OLD Guy and the team setup reflects that "OLD, STALE" way of thinking. Sort of like that ORANGE politician. OLD, STALE and NO HOPE FOR THE FUTURE!

I think you hit the nail on the head. They scared. I don’t really know why Jerry scared to push his chips into the middle of the table, but I think him being a gun slinger in the past and giving out massive contracts to players around the early 2000s that didn’t pan out which put the cowboys in a bad position to only get guys off the couch because that’s all they could afford. Then 3 straight 5 game winning seasons was the result of that. As you said, this not the 90s anymore. You just can’t go get a Dion sanders, or Charles Haley and pay what they want. This is a new era in football which now have a salary cap. If he is not good with the salary cap. Give somebody else that position that can do better. But you can’t pull off your 90s block buster moves like you use to. This era In football is different. I see other team like the eagles do it a lot, which I don’t like that team, but they take a lot of chances. Jerry act scared saying that’s not smart. But there going to superbowls. Your not!! Grow some balls jerry, or fire yourself.

I think a lot of people could do a better job building a roster than JJ. Adding Derrick Henry would have made this roster better on the offensive side. This year is a perfect example of how rookies can’t make an immediate impact, Mazzie and Guyton, for starters…gotta build through free agency, all the other teams do it, but not the cowboys…
