00:22:00 She is aiming for price/kg similar to Falcon 9 prices in the 50,000,000 $/start range. That's kind of new information.

I did not what she said, I understood it as a price per launch so a lot cheeper price/kg

If a movie about SpaceX is ever made, I vote Gwynne Shotwell be played by either Laura Linney or Elisabeth Shue

Space transportation much further and faster, to meet other forms of civilization. We may not be able to do that in our lifetime, but don't worry, you never know, they may visit us sooner than we expect, maybe tomorrow or next weekend 👽😊

👽 If their are other space fairing 🚀 humanoids out there 🌌, close enough to visit us 🌠, you can be sure they have already been here and are watching 👀 our progress. Only seems logical. 👾

Shotwell's comments related to employees' burnout sound cynical. It is well known, that there are serious issues related to burnout at SpaceX. She demonstrates that the well-being of their employees is not a priority, because working for one of the greatest projects in history is somehow supposed to help with these major serious effects. This is deeply disappointing. If your workforce can not handle the long-term load, it is too high or you have to increase your manpower.

That's not how I took that. She acknowledged burnout is dangerous because if people are exhausted, they'll make mistakes, she also said their management are now actively watching for burnout. I'd like to hear from a lower level SpaceX employee on this, but she didn't come across as cynical.

@@basslinedan2 I agree with you - she seemed more concerned than cynical. @Mike MUC If you have learned / seen anything about Gwynne Shotwell, you would know, she is anything but cynical. However, I can imagine that the work pace would have to be fast, considering their iterative R&D approach - constantly improving on the last version of whatever it is they may be working on; but the employee would know / understand that going in.
