Very short form, Prishe (at least early in FF11) is ageless and nigh-invincible due to a dark power inhabiting her starting at her baptism. Until she meets Bahamut, she (and the game uses red herrings to support this) believes that she is fated to be the harbinger of the end of the world. This belief is hinted at in DDFF with Exdeath's "You house an immeasurable Void within you" and some others.
