I was just clicking on random vids from this channel and noticed a topic I'd like to chime in on about first roller coasters. My first was Space Mountain in Disney World in Orlando. My family didn't even know it was a roller coaster. I was 4 years old, yes 4 years old. My parents thought it was some family space-themed ride or something, not a roller coaster and especially not completely in the dark. We went on it and we were going up the lift hill and my brother said "Uh oh. What goes up must come down." He is older than me and he probably was excited. LOL, I actually have memories of riding that and saying "It'll be over soon. It'll be over soon." My parents felt so bad for making me ride what they didn't even know was a roller coaster. Haha oh well.

Space Mountain was my first coaster when I was 6 but I don’t consider it a coaster cuz my second was Iron Dragon at Cedar Point and it’s much bigger and I consider it more real even tho I had a whole mental breakdown on Space Mountain

I'm almost 17 and have never ridden a roller coaster. Next weekend I am going to Six Flags for the first time with my friend, and she said we're going to ride this first. I know I will look insane but whatever.

dont worry, i just went back after 30 plus years since the last time i went. many rides have changed and some i once rode that are still there i cant fit in currently, this one for an adult or near adult who needs to lose a fear of roller coasters is a great first ride and noone judges from what ive seen and im sure you learned. everyone understands that different people going there react to the rides differently. hope you had a good time.

went on this to try and help my wife get over her fear of coasters. she rode it and was still spooked, while i sat there lounging like it was a chair on wheels lol. good for begginers like kids or adults scared of roller coasters. has mild forces that barely bump you out of the seat and has minimal drop. so if you are scared of roller coasters and are spending a day at six flags great america...give this one a try along with the small family coasters. they should help you lose that fear and build up the courage to ride the larger rides. also...fluffy friendly lol.

My real first roller coaster: Raging Bull Current #1 of what I have ridden: Dragon Challenge My true #1 coaster: Fairly Odd Coaster (Nickelodeon Universe) My #1 missed moment of awesome: Millennium Force (2000-2002) Now can you see WHY only Bolliger & Mabillard was able to succeed in initializing my love for roller coasters? Six Flags Great America is the first ever customer for B&M coasters. Now there are over 90 installations, with none confirmed to be scrapped. All because I cannot recall any mechanical failure or rider ejection leading to serious injury or death on ANY of their rides, and that alone sold me on roller coasters.
