went on this to try and help my wife get over her fear of coasters. she rode it and was still spooked, while i sat there lounging like it was a chair on wheels lol. good for begginers like kids or adults scared of roller coasters. has mild forces that barely bump you out of the seat and has minimal drop. so if you are scared of roller coasters and are spending a day at six flags great america...give this one a try along with the small family coasters. they should help you lose that fear and build up the courage to ride the larger rides. also...fluffy friendly lol.

this video hits me right in the nostalgia. the memory is foggy but when i go back to this park soon and go on this ride it will have been some 30 years since i was last on it. i remember the water park not being there. you could see people in the looney toons outfits walking around. cant remeber what rides were visible back then but i know the whizzer and american eagle are the rides that have remained after all these years.

7th Anniversary of Joker at Six Flags Great America on this very Memorial Day in 2024. Planning to ride it for this first time this year after riding BrainSurge at Nickelodeon Universe Mall of America! Also, sure this ride is highly cloned and us enthusiasts know it, but I still found some information in this video interesting like how you moved the bridge to fit the ride. To seven spin-ful years!

This video would be better without the music added over it so watchers can hear the sounds the coaster makes.. ;) I bet they didnt put the Demon song over the on ride video of the Demon... (FIX DEMONS LIGHT TUNNEL PLEASE!!!)

I might go to great America this summer. I have 2 questions. The first is how bad is this coaster, really? I would like to go on x flight, but I’ve never been upside down before and the only big roller coaster I’ve been on was the American Eagle at great America. I’ve heard that the demon is a good first upside down roller coaster but I also heard that it’s really old and rough ride. Is it really that bad? Do people get hurt on it? My next question is that I’ve seen people pass out on roller coasters. Do people just randomly pass out on roller coasters?

This ride’s great as a first inversion coaster. It was mine, after all. I really enjoy this. It’s not intense or scary, I think it’s fun, maybe a little bumpy from its age but I can do several times in a row and be fine. I’ve probably done it over 30 times. It’s unusual to pass out on a ride unless it’s built more intense than it should, like Project 305 at Kings Dominion, or someone has a pre-existing medical condition. This one should be fine. I’d recommend this before doing something like Batman or Goliath, it’s much less intense. X flight is pretty graceful, I prefer it in the front but that’s just bc it’s a little smoother there. Maybe try this in the front first if you want a smoother ride

I still miss those massive arcade rooms from that time. Where you could still play Pacman and Space Invaders. Too bad they didn't retain an old arcade room for old times sake.

To the people at great America if you see this. This ride might not be the most appealing to everyone anymore. But the potential and the meaning to us will never be understood. The history the ride itself everything about this ride is perfect. Please just listen to the people retrack it get it racing again. It will go so far to bring the ride back to its former glory

I hope the Whizzer sticks around for as long as possible. My first coaster, as I imagine is the same for anyone in the surrounding area... makes me so nostalgic. The layout is so fun and sort of transports you to this quieter area through the trees and it's just such a nice vibe. Always ride the Whizzer.

Film quality makes it look like this was going to be footage from the late 70s or 80s….but then you see Batman 😂 So all of this is from the mid 90s at the earliest
