I slept through this entire video. First time finding it. Recently (past couple months) I’ve been having horrible insomnia, where it takes me a while to fall asleep and I wake up 5-6 times a night. I remember the last time I looked at the clock when I started this it was 12:30am. I just woke up and it’s 6:30am!!! To get 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep is unreal!! Passenger Log Entry #1 Passenger 252 10/26/2052 It’s been about 3 years and 2 months since we left our home planet of Earth behind. Right now we’re somewhere near Saturn just cruising to an unknown destination. The World Republic Star Cruiser 12 is quite impressive holding approximately 40,000 people. Of course we all aren’t up and functioning at the same time. Trapped in suspension the past 3 years and 2 months, this is my first log entry since i said goodbye to all i once knew and loved. The wars were all over, individual governments gone and disbanded. The World Republic formed with a strength of unity to save what was left of our beloved home. Unfortunately with years of advancements came the desecration and stripping of the natural resources. The soils became infertile with all the man made pollutants making it impossible to grow any sort of crop. The earths water levels increased with rise in temperature forcing any area within the coastal area to rebuild on floating cities. I had dedicated my life to the preservation and responsible use of our natural resources but it wasn’t enough. Unfortunately that career had to be cut 10 years short as there were hardly any resources left to protect. Right then was where i learned how to be a hydroponic farmer. Being a game warden just wasn’t a need anymore. On the ship we all have important roles to maintain balance and a sense of order. i myself being a farmer, now in charge of a small portion of the hydroponic operations. Essentially i’m taking over from somebody else tomorrow so that they can go into suspension for a few years. The next rotation in a few years i’ll be in suspension for much longer as less people will be needed. This is vital to maintaining and preserving the human race. Today is my day to readjust being awake and functioning. Now i must go as there’s a lot to still be done and to be prepared. End of Entry 1 Passenger 252 World Republic Cruiser 12
