You will not hear a sonic boom because unlike the shuttle, capsules have a rather steeper angle of re-entry, it was really high and traveling at over 1,300 mph when it flew over tampa bay which will make the sonic boom cone way shallower. You are more likely to hear the boom if you were in the vicinity of the Jacksonville area.

I was able to hear it in Land O Lakes but it was much more muffled compared to the shuttle. It took me a moment to even realize that I heard it just because I am used to the shuttle boom.

Something i learned taking telescope pictures... you can cup your hand around the side of your lens to block neaby lights. Use your hand almost like the bill of a hat. Great video either way!
