Great intro! You can see in the UI if the Button is in Long or Short (or both)-Mode: Short Mode = lit yellow Long Mode = lit red Both Modes = Half yellow / half red Hint for additional videos: If you wanna show reactions to certain values, and cannot show the sim, just add the values to the data monitor , undock the monitor window and pull it into view ;)

vadermike, great videos man! Very impressive. I have a question for you. I am very new to Spad and FSX, but I have the multi panel, radio panel, throttle quadrant, rudder, yoke, and the landing gear panel. For some reason, when I am in flight, my instruments flicker on and off and times. Not only on my physical instruments, but also in FSX. Do you happen to have any idea why? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello Mike. It looks like is pretty different for MSFS 2020. The highest speed for me on IAS is only 205 and minimum 80. The options of course are different on my version of SpadNext. Do you by any chance have a different video for MSFS? Thanks a lot.

Hi Mike, damn... I finally re-discovered this video to refresh my memory as I am trying to set up heading turns left/right 90 deg using flaps up/down switch (12:12/25:20 you delete the very lines I wanted to see)... LOL... Can you let me know what settings you used... i.e min/max values, roll-over on/off, ... I think I saw you did +90 (right turn) and +270 (left turn), I am trying to get this working with the Xplane 11.5 and Zibo 737. You may know the heading range in the Zibo starts at 1 but they replace 360 with 000 so I'm struggling to get this method working properly... Must be missing something - any help appreciated :)

great set of videos, you should keep doing more especially on addon aircraft because I still have the same problem that I've had for over a year now and it's to do with my multi panel display staying at 0 when I use the pmdg 737 but the value changes in the sun and every other button on all my panels works perfectly for it but still my multi panel display stays at 0

+Krei23 i don't have any pmdg aircraft at the moment, so i cant test, or help you with it, but i do know spad.next is pmdg compatible. You will need the correct pmdg variables for it to work though. Try asking your question over at the spad.next forum, and you should be able to get some help there.

Can't wait to get this set up question if in when you get it all programmed when you unplug the usb for what ever reason and plug the usb in different spots do you have to reprogram it all over again?

No, you won't need to program it all over again from scratch if you change usb ports as the configuration in spad is based on the serial number of the fip. You more than likely would need to restart spad.next though, after switching a usb port, which is not a big deal to do.

I am pretty sure you can, however you may need to use lvar variables instead of simmconnect or fsuipc, i am not sure what fslabs uses, as i don't own any of their addons.

Hi, I have 737 pmdg, p3d, Saitek Multipanel, Fsuipv V.5 and Spad next. The thing is that while multipanel lights are on but when you move knobs and switches 737 pmdg doesnt work. What can I do to get the plane communicate with the multipanel? Best regards

Hi Mike I watched your videos on the Logitech Multi-Panel and used the "online snippet" to install it to my multi-panel. Just have a question on the Flap lever. I see you have the Flaps still being able to be used by a long press (which is a nice option). My problem is that even when I short press or even remove the flap action from the flap switch altogether it still activates the flaps. If I just long press it works great no change to the altitude setting, but if I short press to change the altitude it activates the flaps also. Any idea what I can do to correct this. Or what might be causing it. Also the "Pitch Trim" wheel is not adjusting the VS; it is still operating the elevator trim of the airplane. Same with the "IAS" setting. Short pressing makes no difference in the airplane it still activates the flaps if I use the flap lever (Short or Long Press).

Are you saying that you tried removing all the flaps config lines in spad,but when you use the flap lever it still moves the flaps in the sim? If that is the case you probably have the Logitech/saitek drivers in stalled and they may be interfering with spad.next. That may also explain your trim tab problem as well.

@@vadermike7772 I do have the Logitech Drivers installed. It said they were needed to get the panels to work with MSFS 2020. Do I need to remove them? I looked in the control panel and I don't see the Logitech drivers listed? It is listed as a Microsoft Flight Simulator Plug-in on the logitech website. But I don't see it in either the Control Panel or Device Manager. I have other logitech equipment such as their Keyboard, Mouse, Headset and MOMO Racing Gear. But the plugin/drivers I installed for the Flight Panels are listed as Microsoft Flight Simulator Plug-in support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024692354--Downloads-Flight-Multi-Panel

@@vadermike7772 I did remove the logitech plugin/driver and now I seem to have almost everything functioning correctly. I still can't get the "Pitch Trim" wheel on the multi-panel to work correctly it is still only operating the Trim and does nothing at all to the VS settings on the Multi Panel or in the airplane. But I can still adjust it with the small know on the multi-panel so if I don't get that mod working it won't be the end of the world.

i there, i run x plane 11, and i have problems on how to make things work with zibo 737 and b777 767 i mean all the airlines jet plane, but for general aviation it goes well, i am using SPAD.NEXT as well, but for those plane i do not know how to get things right, i have try to connect th e 737 default and everything works perfectly, just those zibo 737, 777, 767 airbus family, they do not read, but if i set things from the cockpit they will read on the saitek, but changing from saitek they do not read on the aircraft, looks like they will read but end up coming in the same positon as before, specially the multpanel, Any help please Best Regards F.Jose

Can the switches and knobs on the panels be mixed so you can use a switch from the switch panel and the knob from the separate multipanel?

Hi, I have an issue with my trim wheel. It moves very slowly, and it takes lotes of strokes to adjust to where i want. Can you tell me whats the correct event to do it. I use xplane 11. I have send control event pitch trim downloaded and up. It works but very slowly. Can you help Thanks

It works in MSFS 2020, but right now there is a stutter problem with simconnect. That is being fixed this Thursday with a patch. You need to use the BETA version to work in MSFS 2020.

You dont need internet to use the program,. But this program is certainly not for everyone, it is for advanced users, that want to get advanced features and functionality out of their Saitek devices that are not available with the default Saitek drivers. For basic users, the Saitek drivers will work just fine, but dont expect to program or customize any of your lights or multipanel buttons with it. Enjoy your saitek drivers, and total lack of customization that come with them.

Prince chaneel, Dude, i am not the creator of the program, i am just a user who bought a registered license almost immediately after trying it out, So i cant speak as to what the online limitations are for an unregistered version, the trial days that you speak of, are probably there to allow new users a chance to test the program to see if they want to buy it. I can't help it, if you don't want to purchase a registered license, after the trial has expired, or don't have an Internet connection, or if you still think the program sucks just because it isn't free. My videos are only to show people some of the things that can be done with this awesome program. if you think it sucks, that is fine, just use the saitek drivers instead. However none of the advanced features listed in my video will be available to you. Your choice.
