The highways in Spain are beautiful, it is always a pleasure to drive them.

Spain could be the best driving country in Europe. Its cities have the least congestion, the motorways have light traffic and the main roads are scenic and well-designed. And there aren't a lot of toll roads either.

That highway was a long time coming for the Spanish people. It was a pain to have to drive here and there to get from one place to another... as we call it here, the backroads. lol Great video, and keep them coming!!!

I live in Logroño and the road to Soria N-111 is very nice to know our mountains.
@EuropeanRoads4 жыл бұрын
I drove N-111 all the way to Soria after this video (in two stages, with an overnight stop in the Cameros). I also took the Piqueras Pass instead of the tunnel.

Excelente vídeo como siempre. You are the best . More Norway Switzerland Spain and Holland videos please. According to your experience, which countries is it safer and better to drive in Europe? Norway Switzerland Holland Germany Spain in that order for me. Muchas gracias. Un abrazo. Take care out there.
@EuropeanRoads4 жыл бұрын
Statistically speaking those countries are all among the safest in Europe. Norway is the safest but Spain is not far behind, it's actually the safest country to drive in along the Mediterranean countries.

you will never pass these roads again spain will not allow any moroccans to pass from the ports of almeria or algciras to morocco due to tensions about borders of ceuta and melilla you will have to go to italy or france and take the ferry to morocco

even in Canada you don't see distance signs of 700, 800km 😱
@josemanuelibernonvalero96364 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the spanish writing. Its easier for me. You can use translator. Saludos desde Murcia

These are not common in Spain either, I think they went a little overboard with showcasing how 'important' this road is. Usually only the radial roads of Madrid have distance signs of 300+ km. I drove A-66 a few years ago. It spans the entire length of Spain, it is almost 900 kilometers long. Yet there are few signs with destinations over 150-200 km.
