Spain is experiencing its worst drought in decades.
Scorching temperatures and lack of rainfall has left the country's most popular tourist spots looking for ways to conserve water.
Catalonia is the worst affected region and the situation has now reached a critical point.

Pool water is reused in the sense that it's only filled once and then just occasionally topped off for evaporation. The whole town could have zero pools and that wouldn't have made a difference as to whether or not they are going through a drought period from climate change. 😐

Not as easy as that as if I have a pool and I'd like to drain mine completely but draining it would cause structural problems to not only the pool but the property itself. Also the pool need to be at a certain level for the pool pump to work and the chlorine to work or you will get algae and then it's a breding ground for mosquitoes.

One would think that to provide drinking water to areas affected by drought due to climate change we’d at least not use thousands of plastic bottles that do not ultimately get recycled and only compound the problem.
@edmerc92
@edmerc92 20 күн бұрын
Why aren't they recycled?
@PatG-xd8qn
@PatG-xd8qn 9 күн бұрын
@@edmerc92 Because some types of plastic are very hard to recycle, but also because we don't separate the materials manually before throwing it away in the recyling bin. All materials are recycled differently. Thus, if two materials of a different nature are bonded together, it becomes nearly impossible to recycle. If everyone manually separated the different materials before throwing it away, a much higher percentage of materials would be recycled I hope it makes sense, english isn't my first language

@@bcbeasters Yes, I'm aware, and quite ironic. Water is actually an energy issue not a water issue, and the climate movement is determined to deny (mostly the West) of inexpensive reliable energy. Almost every single water issue across the globe is caused by rising populations putting incredible strains on these and other resources, and mismanagement from inept or corrupt governments. I've noticed a propensity for climate alarmists to seek out any problem and automatically, almost like trained automatons blame climate change for everything.

- We live in the same climate as it was 5 million years ago - I have an explanation regarding the cause of the climate change and global warming, it is the travel of the universe to the deep past since May 10, 2010. Each day starting May 10, 2010 takes us 1000 years to the past of the universe. Today May 27, 2024 the position of our universe is the same as it was 5 million and 131 thousand years ago. On october 13, 2026 the position of our universe will be at the point 6 million years in the past. On june 04, 2051 the position of our universe will be at the point 15 million years in the past. On june 28, 2092 the position of our universe will be at the point 30 million years in the past. On april 02, 2147 the position of our universe will be at the point 50 million years in the past. The result is that the universe is heading back to the point where it started and today we live in the same climate as it was 5 million years ago.
