77 Years old now , I started my Motorcycling Tours of Spain in about 1974 , and went many times to the Picos de Europa , and Potes was centre of operations . We sometimes went twice a Years , the last time 1994 , I recently looked on Google Earth at the roads we have travelled , and cannot believe how all the roads have been ungraded , I am thankful I did it then , when the Roads went through all the Villages , and not by=passed . Keep enjoying those rides , Memories are everything .

Nice, one of my favorite roads. It took me a few years of living in the north of Spain to realize that the most amazing places can’t be reached by car or motorbike. You have to park and hike for many hours. It never ceases to amaze me. Cool vid, great to see some fellow countrymen enjoying this lesser known part of Spain.

Nice video. I was there in August/ September.. just a quick tip. The left turn you did after the lake was illegal. You need to filter to the right and then cross the road. I made the same mistake. The roads are ace and some of the best scenery. Like you, after seeing all the KZbin videos. We were thrilled to actually be at the Stag. Top stuff. 👍

Just so you know, you can park the bikes inside the hotel. I was there some weeks ago. The interior parking is free if you book from their website.
