You handled the delay like a champ! I studied abroad in France from January 2018-May 2018 and when I left to go to France there was a massive snowstorm on the East coast that delayed a crew member for the flight from London to Chicago so my flight from Chicago to London was delayed originally for 2 hours and then we sat at the gate for another 90 mins. I had a 4 hour layover at Heathrow before my connecting flight to Marseille and I ended up missing my connection because I landed in Heathrow 35 mins before my connecting flight was going to take off. I ended up being rebooked for a later flight so I then sat at Heathrow for 6 hours and I had to navigate getting from the airport in Marseille to my dorm on the complete opposite side of Marseille at like 10:30 pm French time after having been up for like 24 hours and not speaking French. Have so much fun in Spain, Kiara!

You're quite calm for someone travelling internationally for the first time and alone !! I travelled from L.A. to Toronto last week and we got delayed for a few hours too and my friends were freaking out about the idea of missing our connecting flight (which we did btw). So I think it's super nice that you were so collected (even if you had a reeaaaaally long trip) bc we can't really do anything about it... Traveling internationally is no joke! I had the same thing happen to me on my way back from Barcelona where my connection was missed from Barcelona to Toronto (end goal LAX) bc of delays, so i got rebooked too and had to stay in Toronto for a night bc my flight wasn’t until the next day!
