Spalted Beech Floor Lamp || Concept Design

Concept design Floor Lamp, made from spalted beech off-cuts from prior client projects - this is a really good weekend project, with some nice simple joinery, but a rewarding piece - I'll be making this available as a made-to-order piece on my website, in a range of timbers.
The wiring & bulb are from Industville, but there are lots of vintage bulb manufacturers out there with a massive variety of products
The key part to this build, is the threaded section in one main supports, which combined with a bolt embedded in small disc of beech, creates the tensioning clamp for the light arm

On the big machine or the small bench top thicknesser? The Axminster big machine has a simple adjustment wheel, the beds on the bench, I used an 4ft steel ruler & digital level! :-)
