after the fight was "won" by Grubby and only the Heroes of the NE was left, I knew there will be staff BS and he will turn it around. It is so ridiculous imo :D You win a fight, have most of your army left + heroes and the opponent lost his army but nah, let's "free safe" our heroes, reg them instantly to full with moon wells and make a turn. There should be like a global staff cooldown that you can only staff once during a specific period. I think that was the initial intention of the item but it got abused to mass staff anything that is in danger and in certain matchups/situations it just feels way to OP. However, I am just a viewer. Pros most likely think differently about it.

I guess there is also a way to give staff 2 charges instead of infinite usage. At least NE would have a way to spend their money in the shop

One moonwell can restore up to 800hp. Equivalent to 450 gold worth of potion of healing. Moon well are ridiculous value.

This was a very cool game, I could never pull off mass DotT like that. Even though you won the first encounter the money cost was pretty big and the second one felt just unwinnable.

That micro was crazy. Very nice game i saw you winning this one but heroes coming back fully healed so fast is kinda riddiculous...I dont really know what could have been done batter...that cyclone is too cheap maybe tc first for shockwave would help with those and buy pitlord for howl?

I saw another match grub played against NE with same set ups but instead of spirit walkers "dispelling" units were shamans. Grubby lost as well. There also were disputes about NE busted and NE defenders main argument was that BM hadnt dmg items... Seems its no more sustainable)

i used to play warcraft 3 original, sheesh im old, got this video suggested recently lol. good ol times. one day maybe you try paladin first, heal, aura, aura, bubble, aura build. rifle men only, fast blacksmith and armor upgrades. tech fast to add priests for extra heals, dwarf as second hero. used to love spamming that build and winning just through micro, infinite healing and invincible paladin armor army. add knights or sorceress or gryphons if it ever needs to reach that point, rarely does. duo hero and they get high level fast :D

Shadow snakes won't attack talons, they only hit heroes. If only snake attacks could be controlled like towers...

These heroes include some "classes" that appeared in campaign, like Beastmaster, Naga Sea Witch, Dark Ranger, and also others that didn't, like goblin mechanic, alchemist, firelord.

Honestly, looking at all the micro you have to know, do, I can safely say I'm too old for this. But to be serious, i'd like rts to work on reducing the need to micro every little thing with some sensible default/unit behaviors that are automatic/conditional. Like why can't the troll healer automatically cast chain heal if your unit is about to die, maybe you only care to keep heroes alive, then it's a bit more specific conditional. Either way improvements into unit/spell behavior could be welcome change. But Maybe a master player has their thoughts on such changes, is it heresy or maybe potentially good idea?

On paper headhunters should be better than grunts for this matchup. Is there a way to change the build to that effect? Those spirit linked grunts taking 200% magic damage and distributing it to all your other units and heroes is really hurting you.

Not to backseat, but I’ve been seeing focus and Lyn wreck ELF by playing WW and Mirror image second , and crit only third or fourth skill. I think the dmg soaking is what’s been instrumental in their winning vs elf’s lately. Then again, free insta heal triggers me to the moon and back. Staffs too….. fml

So i read comment and people complain about staff OP 😂 Its not the staff is OP but the player is just insanely good, he is using Talon and not many NE players using that because playing the set up have high difficulty itself Grubby just lack off CC powers, the only CC he have is Hex so that is not enough and that cost him this game

I noticed in many games that you often hex early and then enemy will tp away. Is there a reason not to wait a little more and try to do some more damage first, then hex for the kill? Or is the enemy just positioning too well for it? I am referring to when heroes are chasing you around, not talking about the big fights. I understand in the big fight you kept hexing demon hunter so he would not be able to attack and mana burn during the fight.

It's a gamble for both players every time. Try to hex too late (since they will always be aware you're capable of it) and they will just tp, hex at the "gambling time" and maybe get lucky with the kill, if not, at least you dealt some damage.

sorry for the long comment - I'd appreciate if you'd respond to it in your future videos: Every time you are orc you put yourself in a 'losing position' untill you actually win or just lose. What I mean by it is you never have 'brute force' and it's always the oponent dictating exactly what you do. I understand orc is the worst at creeping and expanding so perhaps this is the reason, but it sort of feels like it's the worst race. And talons are a "meanace" and it's sort of always about survival. Isn't there an Orc strat that the enemy can actually fear or is their worst fear Windwalk/Feral spirit harras... Why are orcs so "gay" for the lack of a better word, poke poke bait, wait for the enemy to make a mistake while under your pressure or you lost... I don't think what I wrote is wrong, correct me if it is.

You need a long range attacker, two hits is better than 1. Try 4 range attack only focus fire at enemy hero.
