@@IAmOHMSS I have this Red alert mindset since the nineties - after 3 harvesters, the plant must constantly make tank after tank after tank after tank... If the plant is idle, you will find yourself on the battlefield with a smaller army and lose - it's that simple.

If it has Breath II, it only does 80% damage to archers, and has damage capping if it hits too many, AND you can micro archers with their 700 range. If Panda connects, it's 100 damage. An easy scroll.

around @3:30 the wisp teleport perhaps happens as the tilemap size of the wisp is smaller than other units so blocking movement has a narrower window, or perhaps the whirling around animation of the wisp has a window where other units can pass. I think it is a bug.

To be honest this strategy would be so much better if you'd just do dual upgrade + range from the get go

Archers are never going to be tanky,(no amount of armor upgrade is giong to make up for Normal damage vs Medium armor), but it does let them survive a bit longer to get out of the way. Human went wrong unit composition to beat this -- should have stuck with Footmen with Defend instead of Rifles, and then transition to Breakers and eventually Knights.

no disrespect but... this is why i've always been critical of Grubby's and some other pro's playstyles: because upgrades go a LONG way. It would pain me to see pros get more than 10 food space of a unit and get no upgrades, not even the first upgrade. Mathematically, the first upgrade already pays off typically with very little food space' worth of units! And then there has been the timeless EZ team strat of PoTM and mass archers. just look at the math: archer: 0/0 . dps: 13 dps/ food space: 6.5 archer 3/3 + ballistics + lvl 3 trueshot + roar: dps: 41.85 dps/food space: 20.9 compare that to a base cryptfiend: crypt fiend: 0/0: dps: 14.25 dps / food space: 4.75 so fully upgraded archer has over 3 times the dps of a normal archer, and more than 4 times the dps of base crypt fiends! And that's not even factoring range and stacking small units in a space! That's a huge disparity to contend with! In other words: if you're trying to save money by not upgrading and just buying more units, look how many more unupgraded units you would need!
