If you watch the drummer singing a song he heard and played since the 80 ies, it is because it really touches him. This is what you call real music. This is a pop romantic hymn. Am I a privileged man, being born in 1969, raised with the 2 amazing decades of unique musicians,....

This was, and still is an incredible song. Tony is pure masterclass in this live performance, his vocals are still as strong, if not stronger then they were all those years ago, The band are also just as tight, and impeccable. I love how the drummer is singing along with Tony, just a magical moment. Total respect to a band that has stood the test of time. I salute you. 🙏 ✊👏👏

Having served in West Belfast in 1983 this song always had a special significance in my life. When i left the forces and returned to Dundee my then girlfriends brother played in a band and always played this song for me and her as we followed them around iconic venues in the City Of Discovery. Everyone has a few favourite songs, let's be honest though, this is probably one of the best songs ever performed and written by the most talented artist, one of the best bands ever. Beautifully written. I don't know where that love has gone? Nothing left to lose. A terrible beauty we made. We make our love on wasteland. Our hearts go to their graves. And then some guy pops up with a saxophone and melts the entire audience to jelly.

A guilty pleasure at the time, so many "friends" were into heavy Reggae (which I liked too) I like to think I was lucky enough to enjoy a wide variety of music. Pity I didn't have the guts to admit to liking, Spandau, Culture club, Pop. Although I always admitted to being a Beatles fan.
