Spandau Ballet V's Level 42 Chant No 1 Bass what if Mark King jammed with Spandau?!

Just for fun, had this idea on and off for years and decided tonight just to go for it, million ideas in my head for this but Mark King apart from being a supreme bass player is also a groove master, so I tried a bit of both - trying to also keep to some of the original bass line... Its all a bit ad-lib, but good fun.
Spandau's original track I stripped down via an online app, so the drums are more forward in the mix (slightly more depth on the bass drum too), vocals back a bit as well as horns and guitar, other synths and instruments I took away and tried to get back to the groove of the song, which I've always loved.
Bass - Vox Standard with Rotosound Funkmater 30-90 (need changing!)
Amp - Trace Elliot GP11 MK5
Effects - Yamaha E1010
Recorded via Presonus Audiobox USB and Mixpad
Video - Huawei P30 Pro front camera and ClipChamp
