Here’s a stately, meditative “Spanish Fandango” by Everett King “E.K.” Griggs (1903-1991) of Clinton, Arkansas, in a rare old-time finger-picked banjo style. We shared a stage with E.K. in 1982 at the annual music festival in Silver Dollar City, Branson, Missouri. He was a sweet, kind old man, and his music represents an older tradition that had all but disappeared in that part of the country.
Recording by Linda Kay Higginbotham, and photo courtesy of the Van Buren County Historical Society.

I love this song. I have the John Dilleshaw with the String Marvel version on 78rpm. Glad to see you posting again!👍🇺🇸

Interesting! You can hear a much faster 3-finger banjo version, titled Babtist Shout, by Frank Jenkins of DaCosta Woltz's Southern Broadcasters.
