‼️One thing I forgot to tell y'all: When an R comes before a D, you roll the R. So for example, "perdón". This one is easy to remember because the R obviously can't sound like a D sound if a D is next 🙌🏽 Let's get it 💪🏽

This has been so helpful for me. My boyfriend is Puerto Rican and always would correct the pronunciation of my D, J, R, T, V, and Z sounds. I thought he was just being overly particular, but now, it’s all making more sense. Thank you!

How have you not exploded yet? I'm genuinely serious about learning Spanish, so I'm keeping an eye on you every day now. For any Spanish learners who are committed, here's a comprehensive guide to mastering the language. It may take about a year or two at most, but it's worth it. 1. **Beginner Level (A1-A2):** - Start with basic Spanish grammar and vocabulary. - Learn essential phrases and expressions for everyday communication. - Practice pronunciation and listening comprehension. - Begin building a foundation in Spanish grammar, including verb conjugations, noun-adjective agreement, and basic sentence structure. - Use beginner-level textbooks and online resources for structured learning. 2. **Intermediate Level (B1-B2):** - Expand vocabulary and grammar knowledge. - Practice speaking and listening through conversation practice with native speakers or language exchange partners. - Read short texts, articles, and stories in Spanish to improve comprehension. - Work on writing skills by writing short essays, emails, or journal entries in Spanish. - Dive deeper into Spanish grammar, including more complex verb tenses, subjunctive mood, and advanced sentence structures. - Use intermediate-level textbooks, online courses, and podcasts for continued learning. 3. **Advanced Level (C1-C2):** - Focus on fluency and accuracy in speaking and writing. - Read longer and more complex texts, such as novels, newspapers, and academic articles, to expand vocabulary and comprehension. - Practice speaking in professional settings, such as giving presentations or participating in debates. - Write formal documents, reports, and essays in Spanish. - Fine-tune grammar skills and work on eliminating common errors. - Engage with authentic Spanish media, such as movies, TV shows, and podcasts, to improve listening skills and cultural understanding. - Take advanced Spanish courses or work with a tutor for personalized instruction and feedback. 4. **Specialized Vocabulary and Topics:** - Depending on your professional interests, consider learning specialized vocabulary related to your field (e.g., business Spanish, medical Spanish, legal Spanish). - Explore topics of interest in Spanish, such as literature, history, politics, or art, to deepen cultural understanding and language proficiency. 5. **Practice and Immersion:** - Regularly practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing in Spanish. - Immerse yourself in the language by watching Spanish-language TV shows and movies, listening to Spanish music and podcasts, and reading Spanish books and news articles. - Take advantage of language exchange programs, conversation groups, or online language forums to practice with native speakers. - Consider participating in a study abroad program or immersion experience in a Spanish-speaking country to fully immerse yourself in the language and culture.

Going back to JU when you pronounced the word Jugo, What about the word Jueves? I've always pronounced it "weh-vez".. is it "who-eh-vez"?
@santgenisfashion1 Жыл бұрын
Hi there! letter "J" in Spanish has always the same pronunciation with all 5 vowels: JA, JE, JI, JO JU. Something similar to the English "H", as when you say the word "WHO" in English, or Notice that GE, GI sound the same as JE, JI. In Spain, we tend to pronounce this sound a little bit stronger than the Latin American people do, I mean, we make this sound in our throats, but it is not necessary, I'm from Spain, and I pronounce it mostly the softer way. I hope that could help you a little. :))

i can roll my r’s in certain words but other words i’ll use an l with a super soft r, como.. no me impolta, peldon
@Blacklingual2 жыл бұрын
This is super common in the Dominican Republic/Puerto Rico, so in my personal opinion, that's totally acceptable 💪 I do this myself sometimes too
@foodforinsomnia7026 Жыл бұрын
Lol I took my r’s from the back of my throat, almost like the French. It works for me until I get it down. Sometimes I do it right, I’ll get there eventually!
