I used to lived at Tivoli Gardens before emigrated with my parents to USA 1978. My grand auntie used to own queens theater and a bar across the street..my Dad rented queens theater from her back in the 70s. Dad showed mostly karate movies back in the day. The apartments on the left side at Tivoli little before you reached queens theater was my grand auntie house, that’s where I used to live it was a hug house before they built apartments there 😢 so much childhood memories. St. Albans Primary school was my school. Wish I could find some of my childhood friends from Tivoli. Actually my grand auntie used to owned Tivoli before she sold it in 1961 it was so safe and clean in 1970. My parents always told me it was more peaceful and safe before my grand auntie sold Tivoli, can’t believe how much the place mashup my Lord 😞 please, please redo the video and not drive fast? Please try to show more of the houses and shops, if possible Please lol. And thanks for sharing.

My parents told me the story, a couple of the Rasta was still living there when I was born, omg they were so nice and kind. My sister’s and I will never forget them. My school was Denham town primary school, near Denham town police station. I actually still communicate with my teacher through WhatsApp, Ms.Decosta my favorite teacher.

Great Video..It’s interesting as you passed Payne Ave I remembered I was told that Payne Ave (8:13-15 mark)( Payneland) Property was named after my Paternal Great Grandfather...(Pics to Prove ) although it’s nothing to brag about from what I heard they were a set of well to do, misers, educated but mean with money , half white and had the typical color issue as evident in JA .”high color” (white), brown, black etc My Grandmother ( Great Grandfathers daughter, Fathers mother) did the unthinkable and married a Black man.and I guess that’s the end of that..Just a bit of History... 🤷🏾♂️... Family Histories can be etched in all facets of society.

InJamaica the bridge you passed before you came to that school, was known as Mother White Bridge. That gulley runs and ties into the gulley from Collie Smith Drive, Trench Town. Ending up in what is a part of Greenwich Town.

Collie Smith Drive and Central Road . Gulley in between. Water Street is right by the police station . Maybe got rid of Columbus. But old Majestic Theatre is well painted. That’s where the Wailers came on stage at Jamaica Talent Show.

I don’t remember any of these except the name Spanish Town Road. When I used to return to visit my relatives, sometimes the taxi would drive on that road or Foreshore road to get home. Everything looks foreign to me. That’s one of the reasons I will not go back! I would have to start all over again. Also I would have to learn to think like the people and that I definitely do not want! There is too much jealousy and evil going on out there. People hurting you for no reason other than you can eat and they can’t. It’s not your fault but they want to take yours! Awful!!
