@aldozilli129310 ай бұрын

Hello, I just started learning Spanish. I have a couple of questions. I am currently listening to Superbeginners videos. Should I be taking any notes for new words, make flash cards etc or just simply listen? Also, how would I know that it is time to move to Beginners video i.e. move to the next level? Thank you for the great content.
@chikinfinguh3 жыл бұрын
I find it easy to keep listening to it over and over again and repeating it in your head, you should move on once you think that what your listening to is very easy and you can understand it very well :)
@HereThereEverywhereMatt3 жыл бұрын
What I've been doing is just listening. Watched all the super beginner videos. Then by the time I started beginner videos, I could understand 50% of them. Now I'm a quarter of a way through beginner videos and can understand around 70% now. Just watch, listen, and pay attention. It works. Things start to stick and become clearer as time goes on :)
@DreamingSpanish3 жыл бұрын
No need to take notes! Acquisition happens just by getting input. The way to know if you're ready for the next level is by watching some videos at that level. If you can understand most of what's going on, then you're ready!
@theopalade89763 жыл бұрын
My advice: just listening as much you can at your level of understanding and progressively after a year you will see results... After a year start talking to yourself or someone in Spanish. It is crucial to try talking ... this is the active way of learning.

Countries should tie people to the land like surfs and squeeze taxes out of them until they dry up. They should not have to compete with other countries who are run more efficiently. Parents pay taxes their entire lives to educate thier children but that isn't enough more money needs to be extracted.

This is one of those videos where I understand the Spanish and get the gist, but the topic is above my pay grade (I've always found economics boring and overly complicated), but from the little I do know, it sounds a little shady to me.

😊 I believe it’s fine to pay taxes in the country you live in, regardless of where you grew up. The country you grew up in educated and assisted you (covering medical expenses, for instance, not to mention all the large infrastructures), but the money for this came from all the taxpayers, it was not done in the spirit of generosity. I don’t think it’d be fair to make a person feel in debt for their entire life for an investment that lasted a handful of years and/or an investment created for the entire community, such as roads, hospitals, swimming pools, etc.

Lol, when a significant % of people do start working online and start leaving countries, not just Spain, you'll see all countries start charging taxes to citizens living abroad, just like the USA does to it's own citizens.

I think the true ethical point is: All very successful rich youtubers you mentioned, earn the money from mostly rich/big societies. These societies do only work, because they have a functioning government, educational system etc which is financed by taxes. By moving to a tax paradise, youtubers benefit strongly from these societies but do not contribute. And yes, it is unethical if you only benefit from a system but do not contribute. If everybody would behave like these youtubers, the countries would break down.

@lacydaniels5568 Жыл бұрын
One issue is ethics: I think he is sleazy and money grubbing to move just to save the taxes, but he is not breaking the law. Is it ethical? That would require a bit of reading in ethics and discussions, at least for me. If he moves because he wants to live there, and really does live there, that is OK; maybe he loves to ski. Another issue is what Spain should really do to limit such inappropriate behavior; they should be able to figure it out, since it is a growing issue. A third issue is that unlike channels like yours, which has a real and important value to society and which is adult and of intellectual significance, his channel (I watched three of his videos, elrubiusomg), presents content that is juvenile and frankly plain stupid, laced with racial slurs, with as far as I can see, very little value to society. Spain is better of without him, and Andorra got screwed.
