Gracias ))
@SpanishPlayground
@SpanishPlayground 3 жыл бұрын

@SpanishPlayground
@SpanishPlayground 2 жыл бұрын
En inglés sería algo como "to eat it up".

Our videos are filmed in Mexico and the accent is Mexican. The vast majority of the language is standard, but there is some vocabulary that is more common in Mexico.

We have English subtitles available on some of our videos, but not on this compilation. You can go to settings -> subtitles -> autotranslate and choose English. It's a machine translation, but you might find it helpful.

Why did you use both the indefinido y imperfecto of correr when you said “y corrí y corría a mi casa” ?
@SpanishPlayground
@SpanishPlayground Жыл бұрын
In the second story? Juan only says "el muchacho corría y corría" or simply "corría y corría". Or is it a part of one of the other stories? Tell us the time where you hear it and we'll be glad to answer your question.

@SpanishPlayground

"Datos" suena mejor en este contexto. 😊

I realized you kept saying “a” after “vi” or “viste”. Can’t we just say “vi un niño” instead of “vi a un niño”?
@SpanishPlayground
@SpanishPlayground 2 жыл бұрын
In Spanish, the "personal a" needs to go before any direct object that is a person (and sometimes a personalized animal). So you say "Veo un libro" but "Veo a mi hermana". The verbs tener and hay are exceptions and don't use a "personal a" :Tengo dos hermanos. Hay una estudiante en la clase. Also, the "personal a" doesn't have an English translation: Jorge abrazó a su padre. = Jorge hugged his father. More examples: Conozco a Lucia. Escucho a mi profesor. Beso a mi novio. Hope that helps!
