I love learning grammar in any language. So I naturally enjoy these kinds of grammatical explanations.

Hola. Muchas gracias para los videos. @5:30 you mention the Y in los reyes will sound like an English Y sound. However when you pronunciate los reyes it sounds like a English J sound. Same with las leyes, I hear a J sound when you speak. (Lo mismo con las leyes. Escucho un sonido J cuando hablas.) Is this due to different parts of the Spanish speaking world - some regions using more of an English J and others using an English Y sound for Y and LL in Spanish words? I have been watching the Playlist and I was not expecting the J sound in llamada in an earlier video as well.

Yes, it varies by country and region. In Mexico, we tend to use the j sound for both ll and y. Thanks! 🤗

I rather listen to a female instructor than a male one. The males lull me to the point of being sleepy. However, there are the female ones who talk more than teach. You, on the other hand, I find to be the most instructive in teaching with visual aids. I am a big fan of visual aids and find them the most useful. Question: When you said, for example "los reyes" the Y sounds like a G. Thank you (Gracias) for doing these videos.

It sounds like the "g" as in "Gel" but usually we refer it as the English 'j' sound. Thanks!

i wish that i could see your face while you teach but that may distract me from focusing on what you are teaching if you are too beautiful or too ugly. but the problem with not seeing your face is that i sometimes imagine how you look like and that distracts me a lot. 😂😂😂
