Use Notepad ++ or some other type of text editor on your machine. Or if you're really into keeping track, a simple spreadsheet. It doesn't take that much time to Alt Tab, make your entry, then Alt Tab back 🙂

8:10 uuuuhuuuhuhuh !*shivers* Always calculate all the stuff you put in like you have bought it, fuel or otherwise, even if you mined it, found it or obtained it through a bug. That is a lesson i learned from trading games decades ago, Eve for example. It is also a good idea to calculate expenses for freemium games. If i do not get my times worth (based on my wage) as a time advantage (i.e. grinding) by buying something in a cash shop, i do not bother. ( I also do not play games where stuff is behind a cash wall and unobtainable otherwise but that is beside the point)

u got perfectly fine 'hardpoints' for your guns, at least 'hardpoints' that would make sense roleplaywise, might not be perfect gameplay wise. The roofthingys over your container bays. just widen them by 1 row so they are 3x3 and there u got places with reasonable firearcs where a freighter captain that barely managed to survive his first encounter with pirates would retrofit the ship hull to get enough firepower for that not to repeat as easyly.

Good thing you had that spare core near by. Frim a tactical stand point might be a good idea to keep some on the bridge to force that kind of interaction again in a future altercation

It’s not an in game method bud but if it was me I’d screenshot the list of products and then save the shot under the vendor, place like village/station etc they’re in and star system. Love the videos 👊

u can make "ingame" waypoints. Then make a screenshot of the screen + save to a folder + rename the file it as the waypoint is so u wouldn't have to use a "pen n paper" method ;-P

I discovered the registry was completely broken on my server a few weeks ago. I spent about 6 hours game time coring a Zyrax drone base and then setting up a base, because I wanted the spot near where it was, and wanted to modify their territory. My reasoning was it was almost equal distances between two pentaxid deposits, a magnesium deposit, and a sathium deposit. One moment it was there, when I teleported out to make blocks and gather materials to finish the build. When I warped away, the server got laggy and it appeared when I warped I landed in the sun. I logged out, logged back in and was free of the sun, so I warped to my nearest station, before doing a server reboot. I went to try and teleport back to it, and it neither showed up on my teleporter, nor my registry. Now I have my only 4 auto miners sitting out there doing absolutely nothing for me. I know I am server admin, but I am so trying to not open the item menu, as I had done it before, and the game got so easy suddenly, I reset the server. To me the item menu is like Pandora's box. Once I open it, it is hard to keep shut.

steam overlay has built in note taking shift tab bring up overlay and select notes its saved in the cloud for each game. dont know if it intefres with recording software though

The only issue with using waypoints in the galaxy map is when you're at a distance it's almost impossible to see them.

While the battle was arranged and between me and 3 of my server admin volunteers, the fight was real, the damage was not planned. Did not expect to lose the core. We improvised the boarding action and fight in the corridor. Just trying to spice up a series about trading and shipping lol

I think having the core on the side acted as a better fuse than in the new location. Stuff will probably shoot through your shield gen to get to it now.

I'm a little confused. This series began with "I'm going to be the space trucker." I started watching because I wanted to know how it all worked. Great work as always doing all the other stuff but most of your trading in this series was the old fetch quest trading... not the new space trucker trading. Your space trucking section was: cut to a trader... then buy stuff then cut to another trader and sell stuff. If I blinked I missed it. All the content was preparing for it then you skipped all the actual space trucking and moved on to RP combat drama. Later you say you made money... but I'm still not even sure where to find these guys.

What really impressed me is that the Pirates actually boarded you, i had no idea that empyrion had managed to code that , and am quite impressed, does that mean we can get space base boarding as well in the future from npcs... lots of possibilities there (think legacy infiltration of YOUR base)

As those locations aren't lost, you _should_ be able to do a search through the save files to find them, though it might require a DIY utility to convert them into human-readable format.
