Absolutely but the bridge needs an extensive/expensive overhaul that is slated to begin in 2025... The City has yet to decide which option/course of action. One involves restoring the upper deck mainline/streetcar line with added safety barriers and a duel walking path/boardwalk and the other would just barely maintain the status quo. I do hope they spend the money to restore it to its full potential without weight restrictions which currently limits transit use to only very light heritage trams I'm told...@@clarkesuperman

Did they stop using the cars? It was running every 15 minutes from spring until September since at least 2013. I moved away in 2020 so not sure what’s happened since then

Great stuff - thanks for this. Damn shame about the previously-spacious sidewalks. The anti-suicide barrier - critical, but hideous - has narrowed that appreciably.

Said goodbye to my aunt, uncle , their three kids at the CPR station in 1959 .They were going back to England by steamer. Things weren't working out at the Swift's plant. Ultimately Australia's gain.

that sad part is the older the bridge gets the closer we are to seeing it come down the city is investing more and more every year just to slow the massive amounts of rust it will be a sad day when it closes for good
