To save a few bucks, you might consider using a Saab 93 spare tire (Junk Yard $15), a jack from a Saab or Jeep Liberty or any other Jeep ($5) and a breaker bar an a 17mm socket at Home Depot $30 ... total cost $50 v $349

@@KeepOnWrenching That pump and goop kit was absolutely worthless when I had a sidewall slash. Got cheap full size tire, scissor, jack, and 12mm lug adapter from walmart for less than a $100. No way I'm paying $350 for a donut tire kit.

I purchased a full size tire removed the tire kit panel and full size tire , kit , jack and wrenches all fit . I also used the same screw and circular disc to keep tire in place . No need to buy kit , I only paid total $230 for tire and jack.

I agree, it was depressing when I noticed my 2023 Jeep Renegade Latitude didn’t come with a spare tire the air in a can and the cheap useless compressor are a joke!

@@Miner6770 dude.. I bought the same exact vehicle last year.. and yeh I was completely confused when I asked about it. Haven't had to try the Air in a can or the "compressor" yet.. don't want to.

I kept the bottom tray for bits and pieces as well as the foam/inflator as provided by Jeep, wrench, straps and bungies etc, then laid the original thin cover on top, then placed the spare with jack fitting inside it and various bits and pieces around it as it's not secured. Then i placed the top board over the top. Fits really nicely retaining the flat load space. No vibrations/knock.

White funnel is for fueling up with cans, my jeep is a 16 with 18 spare to match all. Maybe due to my model trim.

Not sure about other years, but the 2022 renegade has RF tires (run flat) very expensive. So worth it to buy the kit and eventually replace RF tires with regular tires

Thank you for this video, I was on my way to daughters, and got flat, the inflation kit was useless, I had pulled over to side road, and then was going to call a tow truck, since there is no jack... I am 75 and was so upset, a farmer stopped and said if i could back up into his driveway near the garage, he could help me. Well he did, fixed my flat, and I was on my way... I vowed I would get a full size tire, but was not sure if it would fit... I have a 2018 latitude jeep renegade. This all happened may 2023...

Omg. I’m glad you found a helpful person. I truly get how they can sell these with a proper spare tires. Plus, the cost of this kit is ridiculous! Best to head to a junkyard and grab in there for 25 bucks. You’re right…that inflator kit is useless

I was shocked the Renegade didn’t come with a spare. I have driven jeeps for years! When I did buy a spare it was 250$! Now I have to get the kit and have the dealership put the spare in the “trunk”. Shame on you Chrysler!!!
