Sir very useful information, And seriously educating is best thing to do. But company recommend. 0.45mm is for a battery which less amps (battery 1980s) suppose if you put 12v 5 amps then bike will choke in high end RPM it has to be a little more than .60mm. My personal experience.

Technically more gap will eat out more voltage and causes engine to run rough..

HI ...I am facing this issue. My bike is 1977 Std 350cc, running on 6volt stator and 12 volt condenser and ignition coil with 12v 5 Ah Battery. I have checked spark plug gap, CB point gap, tappets, Ignition timing, compression and carburettor ...all good as per manual. Bike starts and idles excellent. Runs smooth with good power and pick up, but when I open throttle and crosses 50-55kmph it starts sputtering, lowering the accelerator, bike runs fine. Plug is Bosch HW 145 Z1. Is this coz of plug gap? As per your statement the gap should be .60mm. Need help on this...TIA

Just a suggestion,not many videos are made on the avl bullet or the machismo 350a or the machismo 500. Keep up the good work and your content helps with understanding my bullet a lot more.

Hi, Hacksaw blade is little thicker (0.63mm), recommended tip gap for CI Bullet is between 0.45 to 0.50mm. If you are using Hacksaw, ensure it is not passing freely in between the gap.

Could be Wet Sumping issue... park your bike at piston Top Dead Centre (TDC)

@@bulletodiy4548 To avoid wet sumping, i always park my bike on centre stand, it has never wet sumped again
