I appreciate the extra time you put into the notes in the description to be as clear as possible for your viewers. It’s clear you put a lot of time and effort into making this a great video. Head and shoulders above other videos from KZbin. Excellent job! Excellent video!

I’m replacing the valve cover gasket’s in my 08 while rewatching your video and happened to see where you mentioned making a video of that process. Can you point me in the right direction? I’m searching, but haven’t found that in your past works. I appreciate it very much!

@@jamespollock5504 I don't have the video on just that yet. However, I do have the series on replacing the water pump and timing chain. You could use those to help you.

@@BarboursAutoHelp I definitely watched your timing chain videos and they were very helpful. I can't stress enough how much better YOUR videos are compared with the rest of KZbin. Thank you for putting in the extra time and effort it takes to get all the details on the repair. I have completed the front and back valve cover seals on my 08 Edge today and I'm now trouble shooting the car to be sure all connections are properly plugged in. Your videos helped walk me through, so I'm confident that I didn't miss anything. Heading out for a test drive now. Also, I may comment on a few things I learned in the main comment section of the video. Thanks so much for your help!

Great video. Your instruction was 150% better than the Haynes repair manual which only stated to remove upper manifold. It does give the torque and torquing sequence. Thanks!

Damn man! I’ve got the same vehicle and the truck has the sputter and shakes here and there like a drug fiend when his dealer is on vacation. The engine light is on, it idles pretty well, but when I accelerate I get that shake, jumpy thing going on. At that point the Check Engine Light starts to blink eventually. I was so damn optimistic I could do this, before I watched your video, which clearly shows some of us what we can do, and what we’re gonna jack up if we try. Not happening on this end, no F’ing way, this isn’t my snowblower. Now I know how people feel when I’m discussing building serious websites and how foreign that is for them so I took a lot out of this in many ways my friend. If you have any quick things I can check outside of bidding on a Craigslist cherry picker tomorrow morning, please let me know. I believe it may be a vacuum leak as well based on your other video but who knows. You put out great content that is easy to follow though man. It’s well done and you should have significantly more viewers and subscribers than you do but I have no doubt that will come. I’m sure you’re busy as hell but if you can make the time once a week to do a one minute “short” video on any mechanic topic the average person could utilize that would get you a huge following quickly. Then you can use those for FB Reals, Instagram, and TicTok and really monetize your tutorials. New Sign Off “As always, don’t wrench yourself into a corner-watch Robinsons Auto Repair first”. That’s only one without swearing that came to mind. Happy Holidays

Hey, thanks for the complement. I appreciate the energy you put into it. It sounds to me that you probably have an ignition related misfire based on the information you gave. The check engine light will flash when there is a consistent misfire that is a threat to the catalytic converters. In my experience on this vehicle misfires like this are usually caused by either bad spark plugs or coils or both. Not saying that proper diagnostics don't have to be performed to determine that first but that is my experience. Please like and subscribe! That really helps the channel.

@ Thanks for getting back to me so quick. That totally makes sense and I’m guessing you recommend me driving it as little as possible? I feel like I maybe got some trash gas because I accidentally put unleaded 88 in it so I’m kinda curious what you think on that one whenever you get a chance. I liked and subscribed as well. I’ll hit the other videos up too. BTW, where are you guys located? I’m in Wisco, and you look like you’re in a much warmer place.

Mr. Ford needs to be castrated for this. You should never need more than a ratchet and socket to change spark plugs. Wth
