I'm not sure where my "thank you" donation turned up, but I did leave one! I'm so grateful. I have NEVER worked on my car before, but I saw your video and felt confident enough. I followed it step, by step, and successfully replaced my spark plugs in my 2012 Ford Edge! You didn't miss a step! I struggled only with getting hose clamps on and off in hard to reach places, but aside from that, I actually fixed my "misfires." As a fifty three year old female school teacher, I'm probably not your target audience, but I want to assure others unsure of their ability to do their own repairs, it can be done when you have an awesome leader like Blue Collar Garage (and some tools, I did have to buy a "spark plug" ratchet attachment. I hope you'll do a how to on rewiring a squirrel/mouse chewed wire to a fuel injector. That's the only issue I have left!

Thank you very much I did receive your super thanks I really appreciate that helps keep the channel going. Comments like yours is what keeps me motivated to do these videos, knowing I was able to help save somebody some money and do the repair themselves. Not saying all shops are dishonest but there’s a lot out there that are. Glad I was able to help you out. Unfortunately I don’t have a video on rewiring a fuel injector but shouldn’t be that hard most likely need a new injector pigtail and should only need a couple wires that need to be spliced together.

I have only watched 1:46 mins of this and already I noticed the great detail in this video. FINALLY someone that covers everything, down to the simplest things. Thank you. (now I will finish seeing the video)

Thank you for a great video. I left my TB on because the stealership wanted $46 for that o-ring. Made the bracket bolt a pain. The flexible hose clamp pliers were worth every penny on this job alone. Thanks again!

Ford engineers shame on you! It’s ridiculous that you’ve made it so hard to replace the plugs. Good video; thanks.

This video worked perfectly for my 2011 Lincoln MKX. Great job on the video! Watched it as I was changing the plugs and pvc valve.

Great tutorial! Just did mine and it was so easy with your video. My PCV valve had a hard plastic elbow rather than a rubber hose. I just heated mine a bit with a torch and it slipped right off while keeping it's shape.
@tomw.7402 ай бұрын
Mine had that same issue too. Used a regular heat gun to remove and reinstall PVC valve.

Today I did my 2015 MKX following your vid step by step. Nailed it! If I was to do it again I would remove the computer wires and coolant hose sooner. Just a suggestion to a great video. Thanks!!

Great vid Sir...btw, what was that liquid in the dark blue tube your putting in the ignition coils/spark plug hole. When the vid speeds up, I noticed it

Probably pretty late but I believe your talking about the compressed air nozzle he was blowing each cylinder out with before he removed the plug.

Can changing spark plug in Mkx 2007 can make your car stop vibrating on D please anyone who know can let me know please Or I have to check for motor mounts issue ??
@BLUECOLLARGARAGE10 ай бұрын
Sounds more like the motor mount or transmission mount. If it were plugs you would most likely have a misfire which would cause your check engine light to come on.
@Adventure-plus9 ай бұрын
I have same issue with mine, low speeds fine but once in a while she likes to shake when I try to give her more gas, found out I have a misfire, hopping it stops offer this if not on to the motor/trans mounts
