Very nice videos. I own a 147 105cv on 326000 kms on odometer. Its very hard to find Alfa Romeo tutorials. and troubleshooting guides. We dont have talented Alfa mechanics here and most of the time I am telling what is the problem about the car which I find from internet or from my multiecuscan software. This oil in spark plug wells going into spark plug boots causing random misfires. Few months ago I told the mechanic to clear this oil but he said no. I insisted and misfires disappeared. Thank you very much for that videos.

@@arcgarage Indeed! I owned before Guiletta 1.6 mjet, 156 2.0, 147 120cv and I can say I love my 147 105cv amongst all. Probably I ll keep that little one and never sell.

Thank you for the video. Lately I’ve been starting to work on my own Alfa 147. Now that I have a mentor and all the information I need I’m seeing things that the previous owner just screwed up. Spark plugs that are unscrewable with my own hand. I got 8 new original NGK sparkplugs in with the right amount of torch. Mass airflow sensor all cleaned and replaced the oxygen sensor. Ready for winter! Much appreciated.

My 147 1.6 105 hp dated 11/2007 has 181000km has been fitted with an Emer LPG system since 2016, also I have recently changed the spark plugs, I have put 8 platinum champions ... the old ones were Bosch nickel with shorter duration, 4 new coils and new spark plug cables from Ngk .. I wanted to put the Pulstar I think the best absolutely or the iridium ones but in the end I opted for the platinum ones .. a greeting from Italy

Good choice, Bosch are inferior but I do replace them more frequently. My 147 is also up for the spark plug change in the next few days and I might opt out for NGK. Greetings...

Thank you for another great video! Do you think that is any big difference between the Bosch and NGK plugs? Because a set of 4 + 4 NGK plugs for my gt costs 190€ and the set from Bosch cost half of that. What do you think? Keep up the good work 👍

well i am think it have do do with the drive modus ...if you are mostly drive fast -racing with higer rpm than is the NGK the better option , but if you drive normaly ist the Bosch OK ...i have use NGK and Bosch .and in the Future i take the Bosch .iam not Happy with the pantasy prices from NGK :but the other point is I change the spark plugs every 15,000 km The Twin Spark engines were originally developed for aircraft and are serviced after operating hours

Well, if you work on cars on regular basis you get the feel for them. Otherwise it is better to use it and prevent the damage to the threads...

Thanks. The issue is much cheaper and easier to fix, it is a bad valve cover gasket. You got a video on channel on how to replace it...

Very nice video i want to do this myself ,but i have a question My alfa romeo gt 1.8 twinspark does not start right away in cold weather it starts easily if the motor is warm but not when its is cold is this normal ?

Not sure, but it could be related to radio signal, and even speed limit if you set one. Did you try turning it off through board computer?
