One tip for the resistances for all of you (and for Nick). If you got Prismatic ring which has All res suffix and Cold res suffix (for example), you can use the Cold catalyst to quality to 20%. That way, it will up the Cold res + All res Implicit + All res suffix (YES! All of them together). So, Cold, Light, Fire Catalysts are improving the All res too, but you need to have at least one single Res suffix the same as the catalyst you're using. So if you have Prismatic with all res suffix only, it could not work as good as a prismatic with all res suffix + Fire res suffix and then using fire catalyst to upgrade it to 20%. Ahh, I forgot to mention that currently the catalysts are super cheap. So just back up yourself with a few stacks for later, cause the price will go up (I'm pretty sure).

something i wanted to point out is the t3 support gem that reads "gain 25% chaos damage on this spell, but add 10% max life cost" does not have any cost if you have the "max life 1" on the skill tree. not sure if this is better than anything but smtn to think about.

Another "thing" I'm trying now is to get an armor with 30 (or more) spirit and put the Grim Feast active. I already tired it to see if it works and how it feels (tested it while switching off the Archmage) and actually it doubles your ES pretty quick while playing. That's huge amount of Defense for just 30 spirit on your armor.

tip there is a node in the bottom tree you can annoint.. non-crit lightning damage hits are lucky.. huge dmg boost.. wont show in tooltip though.

Elemental storm applies hinder which is helpful for bosses :D but the next node isn't needed so we can take double shock. If i ever get 5 socket on the curse I will put decay hex and hinder on it :D

Penetration doesn't go below o% resist while curse + exposure do, so it's effectively useless on high health mobs that you are cursing + applying exposure to. For general map clearing it can sometimes be useful but not worth speccing into imo

How do you get so much mana? I have eldritch battery and everlasting gaze, and mana rolls on most of my gear, a similar tree, and I'm struggling to reach 3000. meanwhile every youtuber seems to easily have 4000 mana or more

Do you have high ES rolls on your gear? That's a huge factor. Also high int helps too. Something like 600-750 ES body armour is huge, also look at your helm and focus for 250+ ES.

Haven't really tried it honestly, but bosses are like 1/5 maps at best, and I kill them near instantly anyways. Spark is just infinitely better for clear speed and synergizes perfectly with all the league mechanics. I.e. pre placing sparks for mobs to spawn into and insta die

3 type of orbs. Lesser jeweller orb that gives you 3rd socket. Greater that gives you the 4th, and perfect that gives you the 5th. You can either farm for these or buy them.

Hi Nick, i read somewhere that the only ES that goes into your mana is the flat amount from your gear, is this true? So does that mean that you could ignore the %ES on gear and in the passive tree? Or do these contribute to the ES you get back from Everlasting Amulet?

These contribute to the ES from the amulet. Without nodes, you'd have very little ES after EB. Also, yes the ES that goes to your mana is the flat amount from gear.

The fps drops caused by CPU throttling check your CPU temp while playing I bet the temp are high and the cpu cant handle it ...... ordering a better CPU will def solve the problem ! also 1 more thing that helped is to play on higher resolution with all the settings on Ultra ..... by that you put most of the work on the GPU and give the CPU a little bit more room to work with .

I personally rarely get stunned since I have kitokos gloves. More damage output will usually mean mobs have less opportunities to stub you. You could anoint ES= stun threshold on amulet I showed the node towards the end of the video. Otherwise you could get stun threshold on boots and chest as a prefix I believe

Skill gem damage numbers are not accurate and don't reflect everything. So I wouldn't be surprised if Rising Tempest is just a number glitch and working as intended on monsters. Don't really have a way to test this. For example I had two level 19 spark gems one with -1 to corruption making it a level 18 gem effectively, swapping between the two results in the same damage info on the gem screen. To test if it was working got a breakpoint of where spark gets 1 extra proj. Gem levels 25 and 24 making it so there would be one firing 16 and the other firing 15 even though they both said 16. Took a screenshot after firing and counted the difference and the gem info was wrong and it was indeed firing 15 not 16, while the uncorrupted one was firing 16.

As usual tooltips are dogshit, pretty standard across these games. Unfortunately hard to objectively test a lot of these things. Anecdotally my single target damage has improved since I swapped to it, and I'm messing around with cast speed from crit nodes atm which feel nice

All my gear i bought for less than 20ex other than my wand and amulet. I pretty much just picked up decent looking stuff on the ground and sold a ton at 1-2 ex and a few uniques for higher. FYI the AMD CPU you have ordered has its own crashing issues with POE2 that are extremely common and extremely severe (Pins cpu at 100% and freezes entire pc on teleport). There is a workaround related to setting POE process affinity in task manager but you need to do it every time you start the game. It will not prevent the crash but it allows enough cores free to shut down the process so you don't risk your CPU. Thanks for build, building up to this now :).

AMD has crashing issues with pretty much any game that doesn't have them specifically partnered (I.E. on the splash screen) until a patch comes out that specifically addresses AMD architecture. That's just how it's always been if you're buying the cost-effective off-brand. I know, because I used AMD forever. When I switched to NVIDIA/INTEL it got soooo much better.

u want divs for answering questions ? lol btw 9%cast speed on 4k mana with inc arcane surge nodes etc is actually not 9% its like 40%more, so its like 13%isch or somehting. the best dps nodes for spark archmage are prolly the two nodes that give you cast speed for each time u casted a spell recently. there is 2 of them with combined 10%, recently is 4sec so lets say u cast 4 sparks a sec thats 40%a secnd *4 160%cast speed,+40%more 224%cast speed, with that almount of cast speed the next 4 sec u prolly gonna cast 5-6 sparks per sec so than u even reaching idk .. 250-300+%cast speed. limiting factor will prolly be the mana but dps wise this is better than anything else. no idea why noone does this.
