Spark is what Sonic would’ve…SHOULD’VE evolved into had Sonic Team properly focused on refining/building upon what they had instead of throwing out gimmicks every other entry, and I think that’s both awesome and intentional. Nothing wrong with sharing the same passion for Sonic that inspired lakefeperd himself and loving the game even more for it!

Fun thing is that District 5 and District 9 can both be beaten without using those rotating rocket zip lines. It is not efficient, but goes to show how good Spark is to control

I know everyone's first instinct when they see these 3d Spark games is to yell "Adventure 3" but I get the vibe these were made more in the mind of Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog (hell Spark 2's story was obviously based off Shadow) but Adventure like gameplay.

Generally just taking the main path and making use of some skips that the game doesn't go out of its way to hide should put you on the right track. Compared to Spark 2's speed medals the ones here allow for a lot more wiggle room so even if you make some mistakes it won't cost you so long as everything else is consistent. Also, if you pause the game while playing the stage, it shows the medal requirements on the bottom right.

I like how you gain time by using the jester dash trick I never figured out. Though you don't use the jester swipe much, which was my key to ludicrous speeds and beating most diamond medals pretty easily.

Magnet dashing. Jester dash (homing attack) an enemy or object and imediately cancel it with a regular dash before impact.

How do you do that tech with the jester dash? I've been running District 9 and that level is actually more speedy without using the rocket zip, just way hard.

When jester dashing an enemy or bit bubble, regular dash just before you hit the enemy or bit bubble and you'll rocket ahead. Timing is pretty tight but with enough practice you can get it down pretty consistently.

Yeah, timing on Magnet dashing is pretty tight, but it's not a requirement to get Diamond medals. Keep practicing.

Spoilers Mechanically speaking, yes-the form with which you beat the ever-loving shit out of the final boss is available in the Shop after you beat the game, though the form itself isn't technically a Super form.
