Yeah I could see just a Goku (Z) and not (early/mid/late) and I could see them cutting needless characters like Great Ape Raditz. I really hope it's more than just an addition of Super characters as I'd love more OG Dragon Ball & GT rep. That said I do still enjoy the what-if characters like ss3 Broly and Tiencha.

GA Raditz is just a reskin of GA Vegeta just like every other other Saiyan's GA form(aside from Goku and Gohan)

A shame. I was hoping the multiple versions of the same character would be handled more like raging blast 2, where you had costumes from all the saga's, ultimates, transformations, all in one character. So if you wanted to play a certain saga goku it was all built into one slot, you just had to change it to your liking. The way BT3 does it and presumably how Sparking zero will do it, is just SO messy... having multiple goku slots is so ugly and a cheap way to make the roster look bigger, when compared to how the raging blast games handled it.

Not only is it really ugly, but it’s also kinda limiting. Playing as SSJ3 Goku and then transforming to base and then God all of a sudden would make for some really hype moments.

Somewhat unrelated, but how much of a new experience is raging blast 1 or 2 if someone already has BT3. I’m considering getting one of them, but they’re pricy.

They are mostly the same as BT3 in terms of how they play. The controls are slightly different and comboing is also different, but going through the tutorial and training a bit should get you used to it.

Android 21 was in the last 3 big DragonBall games - Fighterz, Xenoverse 2 & Kakarot She also had a cameo in the DBS Super Hero movie

I don’t think the manga characters *can* be in the game. Licensing and rights stuff are a little different from anime and manga from what I’ve read, that’s why you don’t see characters like Merus, Moro, Black Frieza or Granolah in dokkan or heroes either. I think it’s got something to do with Toei not having rights to those characters yet, only Shueisha

I really don't see a point in splitting Z Goku from Super Goku. Super Goku still has to be able to use SS1-3, and there's no real aesthetic difference between Z Goku and Super Goku, so just keep them the same.

I think it would be better if there were 4 Adult Goku in the game : Early, Mid (can transform in SSJ with fluffy hair, End (Full power SSJ, SSJ2, SSJ3), and Super Goku (Base, God, Blue, UI). I don't like the ''Z Goku'' idea as he has new moves at each saga. It would be better to split him in 3 version to showcase all of his moves

@@habderrahmane i know it would be practical but i don't like the customization (like in the RB games). I find the character separation much better since certain characters don't have the same moves depending on the saga. Mid Goku SSJ don't have the same moveset as End Goku SSJ for example. I don't think 4 adult Goku is too much as the main characters in anime games generally have multiple versions of themselve in the roster (9 differents Naruto and Sasuke in the latest Storm game, 2 versions of each straw hats in the Pirate Warriors, 6 Seiya in Saint Seiya Brave Soldiers, 3 Ichigo in Bleach Soul Ressureccíon, 4 Tanjiro in Hinokami Chronicles...etc)

If any Heroes character were going to make it in, I really hope it’s Hearts. Or at least Goku (Super) gets CC Goku and Goku (GT) gets Xeno Goku as a costume and etc. I have a strong feeling that OGDB and GT will have a good presence in the base game. They’ve been getting some more love recently. Other than Neko Majin my darkhorse to make it in is Demigra and the Supreme Kai of Time. I’d love for either one or both to make it in.

I think they'll downsize the BASE roster for the sake of balencing and pushing the game out. I firmly believe that this game withh have the Zenoverse route and have extensive DLC. "Favorites" like GT, original Dragonball and movie/OVA arcs being locked behind DLC. Nothing wrong with that if the main game is balenced and fufilling. I hope that we get "Game Exclusives" like Super Saiyan 3 Broly, Android 21 and some mobile exclusive characters.

DBFZ had seasons of contents and updates and was only able to get rollback *because* of the money they made from DLC. I get that this game is a spiritual successor to Tenkaichi, but be realistic and think about the current landscape of gaming.
