He would get demolished by other participants. Jiren himself isn't stronger than Goku or Vegeta, he just has near perfect control of his energy, allowing him to skyrocket his energy output

i was thinking since frieza and the ginyus take up 6 slots for earth it would only be goku, vegeta, gohan, and piccolo

I feel like the levels where rush... There are so many missed opportunity in this What if Scenario... Like Guldo meets Hit Burter and Dypso Even Ginyu switching Body with anyone... Also I watch to see some Poses showdown with 2nd and 11th universe

To be fair, I'd imagine they could get some training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. They didn't even live long enough to see Super Saiyan, let alone the rest. Pretty sure they have a ridiculous amount of strength they could gain by training with Frieza, Goku, and Vegeta. Maybe not take on the Pride Troopers, but at least get to such a point they'd be competent. Didn't Roshi in FighterZ say "You all seem to have potential. If only you weren't evil." when he's fighting them?

Remember the Tagoma dude or something like that was stated to be equal to Dodoria and Zarbon? DBS is full of bs power up that if somehow the GInyu Force could miraculously catch up with the pride troopers, it wouldn't be too farfetch

There's no Dyspo vs Burter for the "Fastest Thing" title? What a missed opportunity! But seriously, the Ginyu Force should just get resurrected already. IDK when he's actually going to be the next big bad since there's no news about his appearance in Daima, but Freeza needs some actual underlings & minions. Right now he doesn't & I don't see why it can't be the Ginyu Force. Granted, it is pretty difficult to justify their resurrection without the Dragon Ball but still

I always wondered this. Remember the Ginyu force were the greatest Mortal Fighters in their universe besides the Cold Family. I think if it wasn't for Topo, Jiren and a few others, they actually would of had a decent chance of winning

In a normal plot, maybe. DBZ scaling is so wacky that for the ToP contestants to even be relevant to Goku and company, they have to be so strong they'd smoke the Ginyus.

Hell, they were OP even in the other games. In BT3, Recoome can nuke the map, and Burter was the fastest fighter around.

@@HolyknightVader999 Sure, but Sparking Zero magnifies it even further with the points system for team battles. The entire Ginyu force fits exactly in the 15DP limit for team battles, whereas other similarly effective characters have significantly higher DP ratings and limit you to maybe two or three characters at most.

When you think about it Frieza might probably have enough Strong soldiers or family members for his team I don’t get why he doesn’t just have King Cold, Cooler, Zarbon, Dadoria and the Ginyu force for the tournament I mean the results in this what if would technically be the same

To be fair, Zarbon and Dodoria are canonically weaker than the Ginyues. As for other family members, the writers probably didn't want yo introduce new characters in a game

They were so incredibly weak and embarresing that he didnt imagine them to be a threat. He doesnt like fighting weak fighters so when ginyu did body swap, he tried to swat it away. He never expected what would happen next. Now in ginyus body, he was in for a fight. His skills could easily match them all but the body could not. He fairly easily fought off most of them, matching burters speed and recooms power but the body was tearing at the seams just trying to keep up. It was all for naught, when, ginyu, now in jirens body chose to finally join the fray. Ginyu didnt have even 1/100th of the power control of true jiren but it was more than enough to match him. It didnt trully become a one sided battle till they all chose to join in to finish the battle.

I know this is a what if on a positive note for the character but the what if would have been better if some character’s what if ended up being negative like cell and his absorption of yamcha and tien in the previous budokais. Because ginyu force being part of the tournament of power is so dumb, they are so weak that even with training, they would still be so far behind everyone that team work matters not when all it takes is a flick and they lose

if the ginyu force lived they would be strong enough to take on the pride troopers maybe not toppo and dyspo but at least they could be competend, like in a 2v1 jeice and burter vs dyspo would be somewhat fair, with dyspo in normal state. we say ginyu force is very weak to fight there but frieza were also weak till he wasnt because he lived long enough.
