Since HSR and HI3 share the same universe, Sparkle actually showed up in the main story a patch before the event (CN server is a patch ahead of global), so her inclusion is permanent. For context, Sparkle showing up in HI3 happens about 8 years before the start of HSR.

@@8-bitSprinkles the trailer is labeled as CONCEPT, so the battle is not exactly canon itself, though their interaction in the main story is. Consider it one of Sparkle's illusions, like the fight between Acheron and the Stellaron Hunters in Acheron's trailer. It's a bit hard to go into detail without spoilers. Let's say Sparkle does Sparkle things. Vita does have a giant mech though, It's even integrated in her gameplay.

​​@@8-bitSprinkles Sorry a long comment its just a correction on the comment from KingKittan, he is likely using a statement that after the end of part 1 of Honkai Impact 3rd HSR starts but its a bit more time, part 1 of Honkai Impact 3rd ends at December 2017 and from there 8 years in the future a main story line named A Post Honkai Odyssey (APHO) starts and after that around the year 2029 Welt the one you know in HSR go with Void Archives (one that looks like Luocha) to HSR and then Himeko from HSR finds them and invites them to the nameless, rigth now in the main story of Honkai Impact 3rd we are currently in the part 2 and that happens in the year 2024 so around 6 years after the end of part 1, in that timeline and considering Welt has ben some time around the Astral Express its likely HSR happens like 5 or 6 years after Sparkle enters the Honkai Impact main story

So Vita is basically the goddess of venus in hi3rd. Notice she got upset when Sparkle calls her "Sa". Sa is the original Vita and she created a clone of her self and named it her past name Vita while she took on the name Sa (bcs she hated that name). Vita was basically Sa's slave. She destroyed multiple planets bcs of Sa. She couldn't defy Sa bcs Sa could've get rid of her with a snap of her finger tips. Sa is the 2nd strongest character in hi3rd lore so far. Sa is also omniscient meaning she could read anyone's mind and know what they are up to. With the help of other characters, Vita eventually beat Sa. Out of anger, she stole all of Sa's power and became the 2nd strongest character in hi3rd. She always wanted to be free. And now she's doing whatever she want. So when Sparkle calls her by the name "Sa", her calm playfull demeanor quickly changed. Thats why Sparkle ask "Did u get upset?" As for her mech, she basically use it to travel between distant universes. And rn in the current storyline, she doesn't have a specific goal in mind and pretty much watches over the MC (sort of) while also trolling the main cast😂. As for Sparkle, if u didn't know, in hsr lore, it is stated that masked fools also can travel across the galaxy just like trailblazers. So that can explain why Sparkle was able to jump to hi3rd. She encountered Vita and offers a mask and invite her to join the masked fools. Vita accepts it. Hi3rd events are few years before HSR timeline. Vita can easily travel across universes so who knows maybe we'll see her in HSR in the future. I think thats everything about Vita but yeah, sorry for the yapping.😂

She's basically the goddess of earth rn. As for the final bosses, Part 1. : Kevin Kaslana Part 1.5: Sa Part 2. : not far enough into the story

@radlaw3476 well its not really that Kiana is missing. She's just chilling on the moon. She basically absorbs all the honkai in the earth and now she can't go back to earth bcs of the radiation. With all the events that happened in part 1, now earth is slowly recovering from the destruction. In the finale part, Kina said she has to live on the moon for about 10 years. But Mei, Bronya and the rest of the cast goes to the moon often like its a field trip💀. And APHO is basically 8years after honkai. APHO is even after the part 2 time line so we don't really know if something happens to Kiana during that time. I think part 2 is leading to APHO (hopefully)

As someone who never played honkai impact 3rd, knows very little about its story and probably won't ever play it (I'm barely keeping up with my current games lol), I find it so interesting how the games universes are linked. Like how do sparkle and this Vita girl know each other? Is Vita a masked fool too? How did sparkle even get the the honkai impact world?! In any case I feel like the match more openly linked games at the moment are hsr and honkai impact so I'm not surprised their interacting like this. I feel like genshin might get more of a link once we start to focus and explore more on stuff like whats beyond the fake sky, the heavenly principles, celestia, etc. Would lowkey love a collab like this in genshin but all we have is aloy at the moment lol

Honkai Impact 3rd spoilers ahead for patch Version 7.8 The Part 2 story is currently ongoing, and Sparkle's just been introduced into Honkai Impact. However, as of this moment there's really not much information revealed other than her being 'friends' with Vita, and also a memokeeper showing up to offer to take the memories of one of the main characters away, however there was mention of a great barrier stopping most interactions between Earth (Honkai Impact 3rd's setting) and the rest of the universe at large that even the trailblaze would struggle to get through. Once the collab actually gets here, it's much more likely there'll be more information revealed. Vita herself was introduced in Honkai Impact 3rd's story during part 1.5, after the main story's conclusion. She was initially the deceiving, backstabbing yet graceful and playful antagonist of one arc, and then an assistant in another arc - and has been reintroduced as a mysterious, amusing and loving, yet cruel and whimsical helper in Part 2. Sparkle had apparently brought over another Masked Fool's mask and gifted it to Vita, and the two of them get along quite literally like a house on fire. Any combat here looks to be entirely Sparkle trying to entertain Vita while getting her own socks blown off. As for Genshin, there was already a Honkai Impact 3rd collab with Genshin, and Fischl is already a playable character in Honkai Impact! However none of it was made canon and imagined as a game being produced by Honkai 3rd characters, and filled with a fun little pokes at Genshin like Keqing getting summoned as a 5 star, asking why she was summoned, then immediately deciding to go back home because she had too much work to do in Liuye. Or one of the characters, Rozaliya, saying she wonders why she sounds just like Paimon (they share a voice actor). Paimon then asks how they know this, when this entire part of the quest isn't voiced. Fischl was amazing at the time she was introduced, though.

Vita is an omniscient goddess from Venus who now nurtures the planet Phosphorus at the edge of the Solarsystem. SA was the name of her creator God, whom she ended up taking authority from to ascend to god-hood. Recently, Sparkle invented her to join the Masked Fools, and Vita took an interest in the Aeons. Vita hates being called SA, as she was oppressed by her and used as a tool until she gained her freedom. This is why she asked Sparkle if she was sure she wanted to use that name. Vita is never serious the entire battle but then pulls out the Star Traveler when Sparkle taunts her using the name SA. Anyway, that's a basic rundown of what's going on.

@225Reaver Oooh that's so interesting, and sparkle gifting Vita the mask of another mask fool means the masks hold some sort of power, right? And the fact Vita also seems to constantly switch up her act also makes her well suited to become a masked fool, she'd definitely keep things interesting. That's all I know about HI3 for now, I think haha

So I want to counter the claims a lot of people are making that Vita joined the Masked Fools Sparkle gave Vita a bunch of masks stolen from other Fools. Thing is, each Fool receives their own unique mask from Aha, which Vita has distinctly not. So it's inaccurate to say Vita joined the Fools Now while accepting the masks Vita did say she "accepts [Sparkle's] invitation", what that invitation is to was never specified And frankly, after the lengths she went to to break free from one god's control, it's hard to believe Vita would willingly bind herself to another god's will. Hell, she even expresses a similar sentiment in the very cutscene Sparkle gives her the masks. On the flipside, stealing a bunch of her fellows' Masks to give a chaotic outsider access to their powers sounds exactly like something Sparkle would do

Hoyo is building their own Avengers and we're gonna be one of the auidences that watched the history unfolded. I'm HYPE 🔥🔥🔥 Nanook is like the final boss of this Honkaiverse, similar to Thanos for MCU. Although if you play HSR further and further, you'll realize the space is filled with moraly grey people to chaotic evil villains to destructive Aeons that we need to deal with before we can even reach Nanook. If you want you can make a video where you read the data bank of Factions and Aeons of HSR. I've seen some youtubers do it and actually it was quite fun because you get to understand the story while also enjoy how these data bank are written (some of them are straight up funny).

​@@8-bitSprinkles Oh it's one of the features in your character phone. It's different from "Bookshelf" feature where you store all your readables from exploration. In "Data bank" you can view all list of characters, LC, & enemies. You can also view terms because HSR love to use poetry and terms in dialogues so it will really help you. And for basic lore, there are also list of Aeons and Factions known to Astral Express because in lore this feature came from all the collected data in Astal Express system since Akivili use the train for the first time.

Mihoyo always goes a cut above for their concept trailers, however the PVs (promotional videos) and animated shorts also start out good, and keep on getting better as they go, a result of Mihoyo investing their profits back into a game they love. A word of warning, though, that the animated shorts take place at the end of climactic chapters, so while you can still watch them without playing the game, playing adds so much more context and impact. You can also check out the concerts. _HI3_ has three so far. None for this past year, unfortunately, but they did just wrap up the major story for the major characters, and start a new one. For lore, you can check out 'Introduction to the Honkaiverse' and also Homu Labs's videos.

AS IF I ORDERED IT HAHAHA! by the way: the honkai impact girl is called Vita, she is a goddess, and she loves chaos just as much as sparkle. her actual goals are yet unknown. and all of this happens in the MAIN STORY of honkai impact, not an event. so its canon and it all happens way before the events of honkai star rail. they fight just for fun extra info: the giant mechs are basically summoned from the imaginary space (i think?) i dont really know how sparkle does it, but vita calls hers from a pocket dimension. and dont worry, since its main story, sparkle is here to stay

Vita is the clone of a being from several.million years prior to the story now, a woman callwd Vita, a scientist who tried to use her skills to prevent a force called The Abyss(What the people on Warth where HI3rd takes place call Honkai) from destroying her home on Venus. She failed. The Abyss destoryed everyone and everything on the planet except for some downloaded mindstates and Vita herself, who had gsined godlike power and immortality. She constructed, or found not sure, Star Traveller, thr giant mech, and uploaded the mindstates into it, she used the mech to travel the Sea of Quanta, a sublevel of reality where fragments of the universe sometimes fall, and where bubble universes, that mirror reality in some ways occasionally appear, but only last a short time(compared to reality itself, a few thousand years or so.) The goddess grew in power as she absorbed the energy from these places dying, and eventually threw off her humanity and became a being of pure willpower, taking the name 'SA'. This immense power meant she couldn't really touch things on the mortal scale anymore, so she created a puppet, and automoton to continue the cycles of destruction to feed SA's evergrowing needs. This is the Vita we see here. After some time, eons perhaps Vita finally gsined a sense of self, asking why was she here. "Who am I". She kept this from SA because what good is a tool that thinks for itself. Eventually she came across interlopers jn a bubble universe slated for destruction. She couldn't defeat these people so asked for more and more power and authority from SA, until she got enough to break the controls implanted in her. Vita then turned on SA and helped the interlopers, Seele, Fu Hua, and others to defeat and finally destroy SA, taking the full mantle of power for herself. She now acts as a capricious trickster, sometimes helping other times hindering the heroic figures of various places.

The multiverse thing isn't true (it's an old theory), the truth is they both live in one universe. So to put it simply: HSR story takes place in much bigger setting & they travel through galaxies using warp jump. But HI3 story takes place in 1 solar system. This solar system is hidden to other space entities from HSR because a certain God is hiding that solar system. But with this collab, it seems like Sparkle noticed this hidden solar system and even bypassed its security. She met a big villain from HI3 story and it seems like Sparkle is interested to recruit this character to join her faction/group while sparring with her. Now we enter the theory zone 🧠✨ where I speculated that Genshin Impact also take place in the same universe just like HI3 but also hidden because of a certain God. And both of these three games endgame is actually to stop the Aeon of Destruction from HSR from destroying the universe.

@@8-bitSprinkles Yeah, also funny that the latest patch from Genshin came around the time close to when HSR x HI3 collab being teased. Coincidence? Nah 😂 But let me tell you another cool stuff. Since Version 1.0 you can go to Herta's Space Station where she store her "curios" from exploring the universe. In this room there's a Glider from Traveler and HI3 Himeko's sword pieces (Different from HSR Himeko), and you can interact with them. People thought these are just for funny easter eggs, until they watched the hints in both GI & HI3 and realized that HSR x HI3 x GI collab was already planned since the start of HSR.

Mihoyo themselves confirmed _GGZ_ , _HI3_ , _Tears of Themis_ , and _HSR_ are relatively close to each other within the Honkaiverse. whoaa!! thank you so much for all this info!! even though I can't comprehend everything I appreciate it! when I first heard "the imaginary tree" I thought it's something similar to the tree in sumeru it has all the events that happened in teyvat recorded in it or something like that. "Sea of Quanta" not sure I heard it anywhere. I'm new to HSR I haven't progressed much at all in the main story so those terms are new to me XD I only learned about them from lore videos! HI3 playthrough is a large time investment but I think it's worth it. It is one of my all time top video game story experiences. It's much more of a character and emotion focused story with a significantly smaller, more consistent cast of characters compared to hoyo's other games which tend to emphasize world building and overarching lore whilst characters come and go. I love Genshin but there is something special and irreplaceable about the HI3 P1 story. One thing to be aware of if you do plan to play the game is that, unlike HSR where the animated shorts only live on youtube as external media mostly showing backstory or extra context, the HI3 animated shorts are actually played in game as capstone moments to certain chapters, so they are direct spoilers for the story. HI3 is a story that can still be enjoyed even if you've been spoiled on things, and plenty of people have reacted to the animated shorts blind and then still gone on to enjoy the game. However, if you want a more authentic experience then you may want to avoid reacting to the animated shorts. It's up to you what you want to do, just letting you know since the context is different from HSR animations as you're basically watching the climax scenes to some of the most important story moments.

When I 1st watched this I was like ‘Oh cute girls fighting, cool.’ then a mech shows up ‘What the heck? Am I still watching a Hoyo animation or the trailer for the next Gundam?’ I enjoyed it but I would’ve enjoyed it more if I knew who Vita is, I never played HI3rd.

haha exactly what I thought Gundam same for firefly haha what a crazy animation though super high quality stuff!! as for Vita, lots of nice people have explained to me who she is, I will give you one of the comments to read if you are interested haha she is interesting! @pahan131 So Vita is basically the goddess of venus in hi3rd. Notice she got upset when Sparkle calls her "Sa". Sa is the original Vita and she created a clone of her self and named it her past name Vita while she took on the name Sa (bcs she hated that name). Vita was basically Sa's slave. She destroyed multiple planets bcs of Sa. She couldn't defy Sa bcs Sa could've get rid of her with a snap of her finger tips. Sa is the 2nd strongest character in hi3rd lore so far. Sa is also omniscient meaning she could read anyone's mind and know what they are up to. With the help of other characters, Vita eventually beat Sa. Out of anger, she stole all of Sa's power and became the 2nd strongest character in hi3rd. She always wanted to be free. And now she's doing whatever she want. So when Sparkle calls her by the name "Sa", her calm playfull demeanor quickly changed. Thats why Sparkle ask "Did u get upset?"

In Honkai (original, Honkai 3rd), everything is together. Even some stories from side events. Well, that was before part 2. Right now, I'm not sure xD It's still a new storyline. I like Star Rail, but the story in Honkai is much better.

I have completed all of Honkai Impact, namely part 1 And only because Vita was released as a playable character did I decide to come back Cool character I love Vita and Fu Hua, I still hope that Fu Hua will be added to Honkai: Star Rail in the future

I want to play HI3 so badly, but its a very large game. I lost interest while playing the start because the start because it was kind of slow, and not up to what the current game looks like. Still a fire trailer though.
