Are the gas fee’s going to cost an arm and leg like how eth already does?
@UplandGuide Жыл бұрын
I’ve heard that in general gas fees are trending down… but gas fees are gas fees. It won’t make sense to move small amounts of spark - that’s for sure.

Whatever happened with Ethereum switching from proof of work to proof of stake?
@kryptopapa1834 Жыл бұрын
Does that mean that when I have 3 sparks , I’ll automatically receive 3000 sparklet?
@UplandGuide Жыл бұрын
@@kryptopapa1834 no. If you choose to upload your 3 spark to ethereum you will have zero spark and 3000 sparklet. That sparklet will exist on ethereum

Will this mean that if we make a building we won’t get our spark back?
@UplandGuide Жыл бұрын
No. Nothing to the existing spark mechanic is changing. I said that when you manufacture a legit like a nflpa jersey it will cost you spark that you will not get back in return
@uplanddigitaldreamer Жыл бұрын
@@UplandGuide so this applies to 3rd party NFTs that we can manufacture like cars and legits, but for original goods like outdoor decor we get it back?
@UplandGuide Жыл бұрын
To manufacture 3d map assets which are thing placed outside your home on your property you stake spark. (Including cars) For things you would place in your home like a fifa legit poster or a wearable you will have to spend spark to manufacture it and you will not get it back

There are other blockchains to use. XRP Ledger, Stellar XLM, Hedera HBAR networks are much faster and cheaper. Ethereum is a dinosaur in the crypto sphere. Why don't they use the EOS blockchain that Upland is built on? Just some thoughts and options...
@UplandGuide Жыл бұрын
Not enough of a blockchain aficionado but upland does currently have a bridge to ethereum so I’m sure visibility on such a popular and well known chain is at least one of the factors

@@UplandGuide Good point, thanks. I’m very glad Upland is connecting us to crypto.
